๐ฅ๐ธ๐ Lately, Iโve been thinking about a skill that designers develop that I believe is incredibly valuable for businesses: the ability to โcopyโ like a designer.
How does it work? Instead of focusing only on the colour, the shape, or the final outcome, you go for the purpose. You donโt copy what someone did, you copy the reasoning behind why they did it.
The most powerful part is that designers donโt stop at competitors. They look for connections between things that seem completely unrelated, and thatโs often where innovation begins!!
Applied to business, a person mastering this can lead to new revenue streams and new ways of creating value.
Imagine Coca-Cola learning from NASA how to create new sale channels. To me, thatโs where ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐ begins.
