I love to use of pops of orange throughout and the modern twist on working spaces. I definitely wouldn’t have minded working somewhere like this back in my admin temp days!

A bit of colour for Friday with a few more shots I took in this lovely home for architects .

I love the glass panel with fluted glass - merging the light between the two front rooms, and the choice of colour tones of course!

The theme is a beam! It’s not often I show a whole project but I was recently going through this shoot I did a while ago, and saw the beautiful beams are almost in every shot, so here it is without a fragmented post. A beautifully designed space with a spectacular natural oak throughout. What do we think?

Happy Monday! Here I am up a ladder again - is this becoming a theme? I had the pleasure of shooting this beautifully bespoke piece recently for for this customers home office. Can you guess their profession from the little hints? It’s not everyday you pop a skeleton in shot!

Butterfly Home - As featured in last months

This completely bespoke kitchen became the owners favourite space - they wanted big windows and a a high roof, and it’s plenty of view and connection to the outside - they previously had a home in Greece and wanted a similar feel! I totally see that with their light choices too!

Super excited to share the photos I took for this commissioned project featured in last months edition with .

It is called ‘The Butterly House’ - The layout was inspired by a butterfly. “It struck me that this could be the shape of the building, with the accommodation in one wing and the living spaces in the other,” says homeowner Martin. The floorplan consists of two rectangle-shaped wings, connected by a glazed link entrance hallway. The space is all on one level and every detail was thoroughly considered. The bedroom side of the building sits parallel to the edge of the plot and the other rectangle is angled to ensure daylight falls into the living spaces in the morning and early evenings. Here are just a few great angles of the property!

Showcasing this lovely spacious kitchen I had the pleasure of shooting for .

I love it when the island has a hidden space for cookbooks and little bits, even better when there’s also a drawer below! Another kitchen showing lots of storage space and an exposed brick wall (something I always love!).

I often carry bags of props with me to stage rooms before I shoot, but sometimes I use myself as a prop in photos. For everyone’s reference I’m 5 ft 5 (and a bit) so you can imagine how tall the units are that I shoot!

This unit by is one of many in this home, and I love what they’ve done with it! A very cosy spot which I can imagine, when the LEGO is being built is chaos, but then once made all neatly displayed.

What would you put in this shelving?

As I go through the archives (the old free up space day) I’m reminded of some of my favourites! This one is definitely up there. So many great storage areas, beautifully designed throughout. Always a pleasure to photograph. Oh and it always helps when you have a very well behaved pooch to pose!
