Meadows and an endless summer. Lying in the grass transported me back to my 7 year old self. Carefree without knowing what time or day it was. That’s not quite true of now, but a few minutes lying in the grass looking up through long grasses and oxeye daisies felt good for my soul.

I found a tail feather from a magpie in the garden - the colours are so beautiful! He keeps coming to visit - I think he’s after scraps. This morning he was there on the back of the chair outside on the decking when I opened the curtains. So many visits over the last few days. There is a meaning to seeing a magpie…

“Spiritually, the magpie is a powerful messenger from the subconscious. Often associated with duality and the shadow self, these birds appear when there is a disconnect between your inner truth and your outer life, urging you to pay attention to repressed feelings and the hidden signs around you.”
