Had the pleasure of seeing the Nigerian Modernism exhibit at the recently. Learning the art history of my own culture was very enlightening and inspired ideas of how to incorporate it into my own art practice, and encourage further research and development.

As crazy as this world has become, and even more expensive it has gotten, London has always felt like home. It’s where I grew up, have family, friends and had great experiences. Even with all the doom and gloom, there are always special moments that can be found, if you just look for them.

Went to see the exhibit at over last weekend. Gordon Parks’ work was one that really interested and inspired me during my time at university, and really gave me a sense of purpose when I chose to dig deep into documentary photography. I’m so glad I managed to make the last day, as it reminded me of why I started this photography journey in the first place, and why I can’t give up on it.

Saw the Dean Sameshima exhibit “Wonderland” at recently. Was a very eye opening experience surrounding the US q***r scene that is slowly disappearing in recent years. I think with a lot of the political rhetoric that’s been very vocal, it’s very sad as the LGBT community has always been a safe space for those considered different

Had the pleasure recently of seeing the Theatre Picasso exhibition at the Tate Modern. It’s been a wonderful ride getting back into the photography game, so it was just a dream come true seeing one of my favourite artists’ extensive body of work.
