NOTTING CUTER THAN PINK, AM I RIGHT?
• I absolutely fell in love with Notting Hill!

The infinite rows of colorful, fancy Victorian townhouses, the lively markets and independent shops… the whole vibe is just 🤩

It became part of London during the 19th century, and for most of the 20th, it was a refuge for immigrants because of the cheap rents. Definitely not the case anymore, being now the home of fashionable restaurants and high-end shops.

My favorite, of course, was this pink corner house. Wouldn't you love to live there?

¡Me enamoré perdidamente de Notting Hill!

Las filas infinitas de casas adosadas victorianas coloridas y elegantes, los mercados animados y las tiendas independientes... todo el ambiente es simplemente 🤩

Se convirtió en parte de Londres durante el siglo XIX, y durante la mayor parte del XX fue un refugio para inmigrantes debido a los bajos alquileres. Definitivamente ya no es el caso, siendo ahora el hogar de conocidos restaurantes y tiendas de alta gama.

Mi favorita, por supuesto, fue esta casa esquinera rosada. ¿No te encantaría vivir allí?

• One of the reasons I love IG is because it allows you to connect with a lot of people and even more when those connections become real friendships 💕

4 years ago, I received a comment from a girl asking me if I knew if the blooms were still good to visit. I told her that most of them were starting to fall but that even with all the petals on the ground, she should see them and I DMed her a photo ☺

We started talking and then I offered to show her this place that I had just discovered so a couple of days later, I was taking Caro l Paris & Travel Photography] to the Square Gabriel Pierné 🌸

After that we became photo pals turned best friends and the rest is history

Una de las razones por las que amo IG es porque te permite conectarte con muchas personas y aún más cuando esas conexiones se convierten en amistades reales 💕

Hace 4 años, recibí un comentario de una chica preguntándome si los cerezos aún tenían todas sus florecitas. Le respondí que ya se estaban cayendo, pero que aún con todos los pétalos en el suelo, tenía que verlos y le mandé un DM con una foto de ejemplo ☺

Empezamos a hablar y luego me ofrecí a mostrarle este lugar que acababa de descubrir y fue así como par de días después, estaba llevando a Caro l Paris & Travel Photography] a la Plaza Gabriel Pierné 🌸

Después de eso, nos convertimos en amigas de foto, luego en mejores amigas y el resto es historia.

WHO LOVES A PINK CANOPY? 🚉🌸
• Just coming out of the subway from the Falguière station on line 12, you'll stumble upon this beautiful scene...

They're only two trees but they make this little square such a pretty and instagrammable spot 🌸

Place Camille Claudel, named after the french sculptor has so many typically parisian details to love, like the Morris Column, the subway signage and of course, the Haussmannian buildings around it 💕

Al salir del metro de la estación Falguière de la línea 12, te toparás con esta hermosa escena...

Son solo dos árboles pero hacen de esta pequeña plaza un lugar tan bonito e instagramable 🌸

La Place Camille Claudel, que lleva el nombre de la escultora francesa, tiene tantos detalles típicamente parisinos que encantan, como la Columna Morris, la señalización del metro y, por supuesto, los edificios Haussmannianos que la rodean

À la sortie du métro de la station Falguière sur la ligne 12, tu tomberas sur cette belle scène...

Ce ne sont que deux arbres mais ils font de cette petite place un endroit si joli et instagramable 🌸

La place Camille Claudel, nommée d'après la sculptrice française, possède tant de détails typiquement parisiens qu'on adore, comme la Colonne Morris, la signalisation du métro et bien sûr, les immeubles Haussmanniens qui l'entourent 💕

133 YEARS AND STILL LOOKING YOUNG!
• On March 31, 1889; the Eiffel Tower was completed after 2 years of construction for the Universal Exposition.

It was supposed to be dismantled after 20 years, but as it proved to be valuable for radio telegraphy, the city of Paris decided to keep it for longer. It remains, up to today, as a broadcasting and observation tower, along with what we know it for... 💕

Still under renovations as you an see, it'll be ready to shine for the 2024 Olympics and we cannot wait to see it scaffolding-free and shining bright like a 💎, don't we?

This little impromptu post is to wish the lovely Iron Lady a happy birthday, may she keep keep lighting our lives for 133 and more years 🥰

El 31 de marzo de 1889; la Torre Eiffel se completó después de 2 años de construcción para la Exposición Universal.

Se suponía que sería desmantelada después de 20 años, pero como demostró ser valiosa para la radiotelegrafía, la ciudad de París decidió conservarla por más tiempo. Permanece, hasta el día de hoy, como torre de radiodifusión y de observación, además de para lo que la conocemos... 💕

Todavía en proceso de renovación, como puedes ver, estará lista para brillar para los JJOO 2024 y estamos ansiosos por verla sin andamios y brillando como un 💎, ¿no es así?

THE BLINK-AND-YOU’LL-MISS-IT SEASON IS DEFINITELY HERE! 🌸🐝
• Magnolias have come (beautifully) and gone already, at least most of them, and now the cherry blossoms start to appear, starting with this gorgeous white Prunus at the Jardin des Plantes

This tree has been selected as a Remarkable Tree of France, which labels trees according to characteristics such as age, height, history, beliefs, esthetics, among others. There are approximately 200 trees with this recognition in France 🎖️

If you’re in Paris or near, I absolutely recommend you visit this one in the next few days before all the flowers fall. It’s quite the spectacle, with the delicious smell and playful bees jumping from flower to flower

Las Magnolias ya florecieron sublimemente y se fueron, al menos la mayoría de ellas, y ahora las flores de cerezo comienzan a aparecer, comenzando con este hermoso Prunus blanco en el Jardin des Plantes

Este árbol ha sido seleccionado como Árbol Notable de Francia, que etiqueta a los árboles según características como edad, altura, historia, creencias, estética, entre otras. Hay aproximadamente 200 árboles con este reconocimiento en Francia 🎖️

Si estás en París o cerca, te recomiendo que lo visites en los próximos días antes de que caigan todas las flores. Es todo un espectáculo, con el delicioso olor y las abejas juguetonas saltando de flor en flor

• A longer than expected break…

What began as a long weekend break became an almost month break after everything that’s going on. I felt it wasn’t appropriate to simply keep posting.

However, I’ve found myself recurring to IG as an escape and it’s because of that, that I’ve decided to resume my activity.

I have so many things to show you, so I hope you understand where I come from and find some comfort in my content as I’ve found it in yours 🥰

Un break más largo de lo planeado…

Lo que comenzó como un fin de semana largo se convirtió en un descanso de casi un mes después de todo lo que está pasando. Sentí que no era apropiado simplemente seguir publicando.

• This gallery, among the most beautiful in Paris, has an incredibly stunning façade (that I hadn't noticed until now! 😬)

Built in 1826 during the Bourbon restoration (return of the monarchy), when covered passages or galleries in Paris were growing quickly in popularity, 📍the Galerie Véro-Dodat was one of the first of Paris's passages to get gas lighting in 1830, and one of the last to fall into decline after the arrival of department stores around 1850

Being quite short, the passage was created to give an illusion of depth, with the diagonal grid of black and white tiles, the low ceiling and the uniformity and perfect alignment of the stores’ façades

And if this is not reason enough, you will also find the flagship store of Christian Louboutin on the opposite entrance to the one in this picture 👠

It’s perfectly located, close to the Louvre, Palais Royal, and a short walk from other Parisian galleries and covered passages like:

* Galerie Colbert
* Passage du Grand Cerf
* Passage des Panoramas
* Passage Jouffroy
* Passage Choiseul

• A new year and more charming little streets!

I discovered this pretty street during one of my last Xmas walks, and it could get easily in my top 10 of favorite streets in Paris 💕

I feel like addressing the elephant in the room, as I totally disconnected for a few days and feel like I missed so many of your amazing posts! If I haven’t yet seen or commented your latest photos or reels, hit me up with a 👀 and I’ll go give you all the love you deserve ❤

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! 🎂
• And this year I'm so lucky to be able to celebrate it with my family!

Tbh, this is a weird time of the year to be born and to explain it better I decided to share a few fun facts about my birth day:

1. It's the Holy Innocents' day, which by itself means nothing. Except that in Latin America this day is the equivalent of April's fool
2. Which also means I've been either laugh at or not believed that it's actually my birthday 😅
3. When I was born, my dad wasn't in town so, as you might guess, he wouldn't believe when my whole family called him to tell him the news. We laugh about that every year and he keeps apologizing
4. I love my birthday but not the actual day. I always wished it was during school time to celebrate with all my friends

Bonus: one of my brothers was born on April 1st. It wouldn't be this coincideltial if my parents would have planned it 🤣

¡Y este año tengo mucha suerte de poder celebrarlo con mi familia!

Para ser honesta, es una época extraña del año para nacer y para explicarlo mejor, decidí compartir algunos datos curiosos sobre el día de mi nacimiento:

1. Es el día de los Santos Inocentes, que por sí solo no significa nada. Excepto que en América Latina este día es el equivalente al April Fool's day
2. Lo que también significa que se han burlado o no me han creído que en realidad es mi cumpleaños 😅
3. Cuando nací, mi papá no estaba en la ciudad, así que, como puedes imaginar, no creía cuando toda mi familia lo llamó para darle la noticia. Nos reímos de eso todos los años y él sigue disculpándose
4. Amo mi cumpleaños pero no el día. Siempre deseé que fuera durante el año escolar para celebrar con todos mis amigos

Bono: uno de mis hermanos nació el 1 de abril. No sería tan coincidencial si mis padres lo hubieran planeado 🤣
