Tomorrow (christmas morning)... look up to see "Santa".

Look out for the "International Santa Sleigh" (ISS) flying over the UK as Santa heads back home to Lapland after a busy night! Look towards the South West approximately 06:17 GMT for when his sleigh will magically appear from Earth's shadow near Regulus in the constellation of Leo the Lion, appearing as a bright star moving West to East. Happy Christmas, folks! Clear skies!

COMET ALERT!

Comet Lemmon is getting brighter.

Head outside after sunset & get away from light pollution.

The Big Dipper is located nearby, so use that as your guide.

Comet Lemmon will appear under and to the left of the Big Dipper.

Fingers crossed you see it!

There's going to be a cracking pass of the ISS over the UK this evening (22/09/25). Look towards the South West at 20:31 BST! Clear skies!

Look north, put your phones camera on night mode, use a stand/tripod/lean it against something and press go! Hope you see the arorura staring back at you after!

Abigael and I had a fun night watching the Perseid Meteor Shower over at Thames Chase with the Havering Astronomical Society.

We saw 7 "shooting stars", and one of them was a meteor breaking up into several fragments which was cool.

Yesterday I was on a flight that was in a holding pattern over Havering on my way to Heathrow!

I knew this would be a possibility so booked a seat on the left side of the plane and was so pleased!

I took so many photos but here are my favourites of Harold Hill, (on the photos Drapers refers to Drapers Brookside Infant and Jnrs), Collier Row and Romford.
