One of the best tips I can give to anyone hosting an event or a conference is something Jason did from : Always use a media disclaimer! 🎬

When a host tells their attendees that filming is happening, it saves us from being stopped or interrupted while we’re trying to capture the energy of the day. It makes the crowd more comfortable and, honestly, it "covers our asses" legally too! 🤳🔥

Walking Men — Production Update

We're close.

The documentary is missing just two or three final interviews, and I need your help finding the right people.

I'm looking for:

1. An NHS professional working within mental health — someone who sees first-hand the long waiting lists and the reality of getting help for mental health in the UK.

2. A Labour MP or government figure who works with or is passionate about men's mental health funding — someone who can speak to the current and future funding plans.

3. An opposition MP — Conservative or Liberal Democrat — who can speak honestly about what needs to change and where they believe the current government is falling short.

If you know anyone who fits any of these — or know someone who might — I'd be incredibly grateful for an introduction.

Once these interviews are filmed, it's voice-over, final edit, audio mix, and colour grade. Then, Walking Men is done.

Sometimes you have to stop waiting for the “perfect” shoot and just go out and make it happen. I wanted to lean into more lifestyle couple work, so I grabbed these two amazing models, a bag of outfit changes, and we hit the streets near the Thames.

They say the best way to predict the future is to create it.

Lately, I took a hard look at my portfolio and realised I was missing a specific "vibe": authentic, lifestyle-driven couple photography. Instead of waiting for the perfect brief to land in my inbox, I decided to build it myself.

I reached out to two incredible models (one of whom I’d collaborated with before), and we spent the afternoon near Vauxhall and the River Thames. We treated it like a high-end brand commission—planning multiple outfit changes, scouting varied urban backdrops, and focusing on natural movement and direction.

The takeaway? If your portfolio is missing a chapter, go write it. Don't wait for permission to create the work you want to be hired for.
