London based people shooter: in a good way.

Over the years, I’ve had a few people say they would rather visit the dentist than have their photo taken. With Dr Matt Chia, we had the best of both worlds. I don’t think people always need to smile in photographs, and often the best portraits are not smiling: but this one was all about the teeth!

Youth activist and aspiring international legal practitioner, photographed in London when she was visiting from The Gambia as part of Global Scholarship Programme.

Anjula was one of twenty impressive and inspiring young people that I photographed that day.

I love the art and craft of photography, but it’s the opportunity to meet new and interesting people that is one of the best parts of the job.

Allan French, from my series of Site Director portraits. Allan oversees the Morpeth site, where SmartWater and Abbey Well are bottled from a natural spring. It was a really interesting day, capturing portraits, product and production line.

We were there because the bottles now have attached caps, so the cap and bottle are recycled together.
