We have had a fabulous day at the Garden Party. It's been so nice to spend some quality time with my son that doesn't involve hospital appointments. One more day in London before heading off for his colonoscopy. Thank you to .not.forgotten

My 19 year old son told he was imaging the pain. Told he was constipated. Ignored for month.
He had text book symptoms abd family history But told he was too young for bowel cancer.

If you have the symptoms don't be embarrassed get checked. Insist. There is no age on bowel cancer and its increasing in the young.

‼️Share Awareness Bowel Cancer In the Young‼️
You never think it will happen to you.
But this is Our 19 year son. Recently diagnosed with Bowel Cancer.
Please share his story.
If you or your child has any of the symptoms push to get it checked.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for all your support.
I was released from hospital on Friday after a week in hospital, I'm walking a bit further everyday to build my stamina and trying to get my recovery to go well. I'm waiting for the results of the tests on the tumor. To find out what the next steps are.

I had 5 lymph nodes removed and 25% of my bowel removed. The cancer was at stage 3 and the tumor was 2 inches in size, completly blocking my intestine.

I'm on the road to recovery and have more energy than I did.
Healthy foods, lean, low fat mainly plant based diet. Trying to stay high protein and high carbs to put on more weight.

Just have to figure out my days around my energy, not pushing myself too far. I get tired very easily, but once I've had my afternoon nap I'm better.

I will be posting some different types of foods and meals that can be the best for keeping energy up but are light enough not to make you feel bloated.

Thanks everyone for your support.
