Some evenings stay with you long after the lights go down. ✨

I had the privilege of photographing the launch of Strands of Hope, a brand-new UK Jewish charity, at its first gala dinner. An evening filled with emotion, resilience, unity, and hope. 🧡

Hosted beautifully by the incredible Louisa Clein, the room fell completely silent as former hostages Eli Sharabi and Alon Ohel, interviewed by Eylon Levy, engaged in an extraordinarily powerful conversation.

These were not just stories.
They were raw human experiences.
Experiences of pain, survival, courage, and the unbreakable strength of the human spirit.

There were tears in the room.
There was reflection.
There was strength.
And above all else… there was hope. ✡️

As a documentary photographer, moments like these remind me why photography matters. Not for perfection. Not for performance. But for truth. For preserving emotion. For allowing people to feel something real, long after the moment has passed. 📸

Betsy’s Bat Mitzvah… what a weekend 💫✨

There are some celebrations that stay with you… and this was absolutely one of them ❤️

Friday at Mill Hill Shul was all about meaning, tradition and pride ✡️
Watching Betsy stand with such confidence, surrounded by the people who love her most, was something really special. You could feel the emotion in the room, the quiet moments, the proud smiles, the little glances between family that say everything without a word 🥹

And then… Sunday happened 🔥🎉

Shenley Cricket Centre was transformed into pure energy ⚡️
The music 🎶, the lights ✨, the dancing 💃🕺. It wasn’t just a party, it was an atmosphere.

From the very first track to the final dance, the room was alive 🙌
Kids, adults, family, friends… everyone fully in it, celebrating Betsy in the best possible way 🥳

What I love most about weekends like this is the contrast…

The beauty of tradition ✡️
The explosion of energy ⚡️
And right in the middle of it all, love ❤️

Betsy, you were incredible 🌟
Your family? Just amazing 🤍
And that party… WOW 🔥

What a weekend. What a celebration. What a party. 🎉

I had the absolute privilege of photographing Jessica’s Bat Mitzvah celebrations with her family throughout the weekend, capturing the beautiful moments of connection, laughter, and pride that make these milestones so special.

And then… the party.

Wow.

One of the best I’ve ever experienced. The dance floor was packed, the energy was off the charts, and the atmosphere in the room was completely electric from start to finish. ⚡️ Everyone came ready to celebrate Jessica in style, and they absolutely delivered.

Jessica, you were incredible. Confident, joyful, and surrounded by so much love from family and friends. Exactly how a Bat Mitzvah should feel.

Thank you to the whole family for trusting me to capture such an important weekend in your lives. It was an honour to be part of it.

In November I was a co-partner launching a new network group called LinkedIn Local Barnet.

We meet every first Thursday at The Prince of Wales pub in East Barnet from 9am to 11am, and you are welcome to stay longer.

This Thursday we will be having our third meeting since we launched, and I can honestly say it's one of the most vibrant networking groups I've been part of.

Whilst it started as a free-for-all, we have now created a structure and only permit one per category to join us.

So far we have the following categories locked:
