We did our personal branding photography session in Dulwich yesterday and this is the sneak peek!

It was the first time a client brought a friend along to the session to communicate the personal 1:1 service that Liz does, oh wow did it create a fun energy and I captured some natural belly laughs.

It was Liz’s second time shooting with me and like a pro she remembered lots of the hand placement and was twice as confident too. 🤩

Meet Anastasia aka , an accountant for creatives who will also be your cheerleader! 🥳

On Anastasia’s consultation we discussed vibes and her brand palette and I knew just where to go because I had seen the specific coloured walls!

(Think that episode of Absolutely Fabulous where she had ‘that’ specific door handle 😆 - if you’ve seen it you’ll know! Alas, no concord journey to New York)

Like most with clients, I helped to guide hand positioning because that’s what we all can feel so lost with.

In the first picture you can see there’s negative space for text to fit. This is great for your website and also for things like for when you are creating content on Canva.

I like to provide photography that has purpose and that isn’t just eye candy.

That way your investment in photography becomes something you can convert into sales! (Wahoo!)

After having our consultation brainstorming their delicious brand aesthetics, we had an idea that we wanted neutrals, nature and to create an ambience (all the things I love) and Liv knew this amazing grassy location.

We wanted to show the more creamy and organic looks of nature as opposed to the usual greens so golden grass in the Autumn sun was the winner!

I can’t tell you how gorgeous their stock is and with all the love and the mission and thought behind what they sell makes them one of my new fave brands ever!

What should I bring with my to my Personal Branding Session? 📖🖊🎒🧶👩🏽‍🎨

Travelling light is best if you would like to be captured around lots of places in the area we meet
⁣
But if you would like lifestyle shots of you at work, then bringing you diary, a nice pen and even some of your branded merchandise or business cards can be very useful content for you
⁣
If you work in a digital job then perhaps your laptop and phone can be included.
⁣
On your consultation we talk through what you want to communicate with your audience and about how you would like to be seen by your niché
⁣
Or are you a craft creative and need to bring small tools to be captured on a lovely wooden top table?

If you feel annoyed, you might appreciate the following...

Before you dismiss your sadness and feel guilty for not being captain sunshine, I want to share something I’ve learned with you!
⁣
Sometimes our mental capacity can mean that even when looking over to the sunny side, things can look grey and colourless and we feel like a weight sinking into the ground
⁣
And positive quotes like that can p*** you right off.
⁣
I’m not a mental health professional, but I do have BPD and am running multiple businesses, so I’m talking from a very personal experience
⁣
I have learned that emotions are often useful messages that something needs to change.
⁣
So if your business in bringing you down, you can look deeper into the emotion aka message it and change direction if you need to.
⁣
Maybe you’re not getting bookings that excite you, or you don’t feel like you connect with your clients? —> go back to foundations and do some ideal client research
⁣
Or you’re working too hard and missing out on family time —> start considering outsourcing?
⁣
You don’t feel good enough —> practice, or learn from peers who you admire, ask them for coaching and direction
⁣
There’s a stigma about mental health and business and that we have to appear okay and be okay all the time
⁣
So for today, if you feel sad, try not to feel guilty or useless - it’s a temporary state and when looking within, you could find useful messages and new direction.

👋🏼 Meet Claire, a Virtual Marketing Assistant, multitasking Mum & wifey.

What to do if you are uninspired & losing coherency in your brand 💡

Private Pinterest moodboards are my go to for when knowing what content I want to plan for next...

👩🏼‍💻 It can:
⁣
• Help you to see what’s missing from your grid
⁣
• Help you to get excited by ideas that will provide value for your audience
⁣
•Know you to know what to wear and where to shoot on your Personal Branding Portraits
⁣
• If you pin something you like but it really sticks out in a bad way, you can know to admire something but rule it out for your brand - and slowly as you cull a really strong aesthetic appears
⁣
• When you can see your solid aesthetic, you can browse photographers, do you need creamy branded photographers for your luxury lifestyle brand, or bright and airy for your wellness business etc?
⁣
• Structure a content making schedule - grow your business by becoming a creator and not a consumer!
