COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT
As you all know the world is facing a crisis that has taken everybody by surprise, this once in a lifetime situation has thrown up so many challenges and all of us have had our daily lives affected in some way or another.
These extremely stressful circumstances have on the whole, seen the very best come out in people, as we all try to navigate our way through it together.
My thoughts are with everybody who may being suffering an infection at the moment, those who have sadly lost a loved one to it and all those who are terrified of catching it.
One of my own, many worries and challenges surrounding this horrid disease, is how it has affected me as a small business owner, who’s sole income comes from wedding events, where large numbers of people gather together in intimate close contact (Hugs, kisses, high fives etc).
Understandably, following the recommended advice on social distancing, All weddings in the next few months have been frozen for the time being.
This is an absolutely devastating blow for all the awesome couples, who have excitedly been preparing for many months, even years for their perfect day and its truly heartbreaking.
Obviously this has had huge ramifications for my business too and I’ve been working with all my couples to try and manage their postponements, to new dates where possible and to finding a suitable replacement photographer if needed, for the dates that I am unavailable for.
I want to THANK ALL OF YOU For how amazing you have been, in understanding and supporting me as a small business owner, despite your own difficulties and heartbreak.
For all of the couples who have weddings later in the year, if you have any questions? Or updates to you own situation, please do get in touch.
Hopefully we can all resume normality sooner rather than later and enjoy those hugs and celebrations once again.
Also, just to address some worries as to my album supplier who is based in Italy.
All packages arriving are being disinfected and quarantined in storage for 2 weeks. I am told that this is unnecessary but I would rather err on the side of caution.
This obviously means a little longer wait than normal.
In addition, as albums are collected and checked over in person, the social distancing measures mean this isn’t currently possible. Anybody waiting on albums are encouraged to get in touch to discuss a suitable alternative arrangement.
Finally, I would like to show my appreciation for all those putting themselves at risk managing this infection on the front line.
Therefore I will be implementing a 20% discount on any Photography Package for 2021/2022 weddings:
This will apply for anybody working in the NHS, Teaching, The Police Force, Supermarket Workers or Delivery Drivers.
When this is over, those wedding celebrations will have an added meaning.
