Popped up to Son's place and got a bird's eye view from the third floor to make sure the motorhome hadn't wandered off without us. You do these little checks without thinking when you live in a van, don't you? Has anyone else got that paranoia about leaving the rig unattended, even when you know it's absolutely fine?

Getting a TV sorted in the motorhome is one of those things that sounds simple until you actually start looking into it. 12v versus mains, satellite dishes, what works in Europe, whether you need freesat or freeview. Just unboxed and got the DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000 installed. It's one of those things where you open the box, read the instructions once, ignore half of them, and hope for the best. So far so good. Got a post up on the blog if you fancy seeing what's involved.

Right, I've done a proper review of the Kilos Gear GrandPeak camping chair. Been using one for a bit now and thought I'd write down what actually works and what doesn't with it. If you're spending a lot of time sat down doing work or just trying not to seize up, a decent chair matters more than you'd think. Check the full article if you want the details.

I've owned a lot of camp chairs. Most of them were rubbish. The Kilos Gear GrandPeak is the first one I didn't want to get out of.

Right, so I wanted to order a DJI drone and got as far as checkout before the website basically said "nope, not you". Turns out there's actually a reason for it, and it's not just DJI being difficult. I've written a bit about what's going on with that if you're curious.

Winter driving in the UK isn't for everyone, but if you're actually going to do it, you might as well have a decent plan.
