Nearly five years into this journey, and what I feel most grateful for is still the trust 💫

The trust families place in me to document seasons that are deeply personal. Inviting me into their homes. Allowing me to witness the beginning of a new chapter and returning to me as their families grow.

It has shaped not only my work, but who I am.

Over the years, it’s made me slower and more intentional. Less focused on perfection, and more focused on what’s real. I’ve learned that the most meaningful photographs are rarely the planned ones, but the quiet, in-between moments that would otherwise be forgotten.

When I first picked up a camera again, I could never have imagined where it would lead. The people I would meet. The stories I would be trusted to hold. The quiet privilege of preserving something that matters so deeply.

This work has changed me. And I will never take for granted the honour of holding these stories.

I’ve been a bit quiet lately, as life has been quite full on alongside work, and I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many beautiful sessions, some I can share and some that remain private. I’m just so deeply honoured to be trusted with your most special moments and memories.

As life seems to zoom past and my girls grow more independent with age, I’m constantly reminded how quickly it all moves, and how even the hardest phases are fleeting. Which is why it feels so important to slow down, to notice it, and to hold onto these moments while they’re still here.

Because one day, these photographs become the way we remember how it all felt, even the parts that were hard.

If having photos at home hasn't felt quite right, or you're craving a calm, neutral space filled with soft light, this is such a lovely alternative. A space that feels slow, gentle and held, without the pressure of it being your own home.

✨ The Art of Being a Mother ✨

These sessions are a quiet celebration of motherhood, created especially for Mother’s Day. Slow, thoughtful and deeply connected, they honour the bond between you and your child, just as it is right now.

Set within a beautiful cabin at The Meadows at Polehanger, each session is relaxed and child led, with space to pause, cuddle, feed, soothe and simply be together. There is no pressure to pose. Gentle guidance is offered where needed, but everything unfolds naturally.

So often, mums are the ones behind the camera. These sessions are intentionally centred on you, making sure you are held, seen and beautifully present in the frame with your baby.

For those who feel drawn to it, there is the option to use the bath or shower. This is completely optional and approached with care and creativity. No intimate body parts will ever be shown, and your comfort always come first.

These sessions are about connection, softness and presence. A chance to slow down, to be close, and to create something honest and artful to remember this season of motherhood.

I’m so excited to finally welcome you into my new chapter…

Fern & Wild Photography 🌱

A little space I’ve been quietly building with so much love. It holds everything I care about, warmth, nature, family and those soft, honest moments that feel like home.

This new chapter isn’t a big change. It’s me leaning deeper into what I’ve always loved. Natural home sessions, slow outdoor moments and the tiny details you never want to forget.

Everything feels more aligned. This is more than photographs. It’s connection, friendship, a safe space and a whole experience where you can feel completely yourself.

I can’t wait to share it with you. The new website arrives at 7pm tonight.

So many of us are walking around holding so much. The stories, the worries, the hopes we rarely say out loud. And sometimes being seen starts with someone simply asking and truly wanting to hear the answer.

So, just for the record, when I ask how you’re doing, I don’t want the quick reply or the brave face. I want the long version, the real one.

I’m here to hold safe space for you to talk, to feel, and to just be held in a moment 💫

One of my favourite families, now waiting to welcome new life into the world.

I first met them in 2021 when I helped photograph their wedding and it feels so special to be invited back to capture this next chapter.

When Albie was the sweetest little page boy, helping me photograph his parents getting married to now, helping me photograph his little sister before she has even arrived.

There is something timeless about documenting a family’s journey. From promises made to new beginnings, from love celebrated to love growing. It is the greatest privilege to be trusted with these memories, watching love take on new shapes, new chapters and new little souls to treasure. I cannot wait to meet her and to see Albie become the most wonderful big brother. 🌿
