I'm currently a BA(Hons) Photography graduate from Leeds Trinity University slowly working to build up a freelance business.

Hello all 👋

I'm finally back with a new photo shoot that has honestly been overdue, which is partially because of being busy, and partially because I had to find new editing software. 😅

Anyways, I present 'Middleton Hospital', my latest Urbex shoot. There's a full description on my site, but TLDR, Middleton Tuberculosis Sanatorium Hospital was built in 1920 to treat Tuberculosis Patients. It lasted till 1990, with all but four buildings being demolished the following year. Said buildings now sit, rotting away in the hilly woods above Ilkley.

Hope you enjoy this one and I should hopefully be back soon with another shoot.

Jokes aside, I have re-published my site, having now been upgraded.
Disclamer however, it currently isn't 100% finished, with a small handful of shoots that need to be reuploaded and a couple other pages that have yet to be completed.

However, it is in a workable state, so you can at least view my work once again.
I'll quickly describe the new stuff:

- The landing page is now animated for a little extra interest.

- The homepage is now furnished with a small slideshow showing my current best images from the two genres I want to focus on, a short bio about myself, and quick links to those focus genres and the catalogues.

- The Photo catalogue looks a little different, plus every section has a convenient back button.

- The Video catalogue is a fair bit different now, with every entry including the video title and a short description to give more context.

- Minor feature, but there is also now a page footer with an animated background.

Work in Progress features:

- A button leading to a booking page on the right of the site header which as it says, will allow you to book my time for a shoot through the site.

- A Blog page so that there'll be yet another way for you all to be kept up to date on what I'm up to.

- A Shop page. Currently, I'm only considering selling digital copies of my work, but I do plan on making items such as calendars available in the future.

That's about it. It's all about the same, just with cosmetic upgrades and a some new features.

Also, on the point of Booking, whilst I get the site system working, you can, and will still be able to afterwards, send me a private message on socials, which I will respond to asap.

Just to give context, my website is currently down. This is because I moved the account over from my student one to a personal account, which doesn't currently have a subscription.

Now, the big thing is that I'm in the process of transferring over from Adobe Portfolio to Squarespace, mainly for the extra features like built-in shopping, but also because if you know what Adobe's like, you understand. I might consider making a subscription if really necessary whilst my new site is being built, but I'd rather not pay a fee to cancel that subscription, so......

Anyways, I'll hopefully have a functioning Squarespace site up soon-ish, so watch out.

Hello again 👋

So it's been a little bit since I announced some new shoots, but here we are.
I did take these three a little bit ago, I'm just slow in uploading my personal stuff most of the time 😅

Anyhow, here's the 3 most recent shoots I've worked on, with 2 previews for each.

First up is the 'Keighley and Worth Valley's 1940's Weekend' event. As evident by the title, the event has a 1940's theme to it, with everyone dressing up in period attire and the railway decorated to match. It's certainly a good one to go to if you get the chance.

Second is once again, the Knaresborough Bed Race for 2025. If you've seen my previous shoots on this event, or are just aware of the event in general, you'll know what this is. TLDR, up to 90 teams decorate their 'beds', judging of said decorations and then a parade to the starting line follows, then they all race around the town.
I may have shot this one before, but it changes each year, so there's always something new.

Third, we're back on the KWVR with their 2025 Diesel Gala. You'll know what a gala is if you're a railway enthusiast, but it's essentially a large gathering of visiting locomotives and some from the home fleet at a railway, steam or diesel depending on the gala, and a big event is held with plenty of fun to be had, usually lasting multiple days.

And last of all, the final photo here is a little teaser to what I intend to be my next project, see if you can guess the location 🤔

Just uploaded to my site the last two remaining shoots I hadn't yet put anywhere. Both are from last year.

The first shoot is the 'Knaresborough Colour Run 2024' and the second is 'A Trip to Liverpool'.

Presenting my project 'Iron & Heart'.

The premise is that focus is being put on Heritage Railway volunteers and the love and passion they have for their work, which in turn goes into keeping heritage locomotives and the rails they run on alive and well for years to come.

This project was done on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, but the aim is to encompass ALL volunteers no matter the railway they are a part of.

✨ Hello there! ✨

This will be my first post on my photography page, which I'll be using to advertise new shoots that go up on my portfolio website, plus any random shots or behind the scenes I get.

To begin, though it's not my first shoot, I have recently added my shoot on the 2024 Royal International Air Tattoo, which is my largest shoot to date.
