It all starts with a challenge.
When a Ukrainian and a French womanâboth incredible performers of passionate Spanish and Arabic dancesâbooked a photoshoot with me in foggy England in the middle of winter, I immediately knew this was a challenge I wanted to take on.
All of our references were filled with sunshine, warmth, and light. Golden evenings, vibrant colors, the atmosphere of the South. Yet we found ourselves in the middle of an English winter, surrounded by cold winds, grey skies, and very limited daylight.
So we had to create that warmth ourselves.
Their fiery spirit, laughter, energy, expressive movements, and charisma seemed to warm the space around us. Time after time, we had to sneak into cozy places to warm up our hands, take a short break, and then head back outside for the next shot.
And honestly, these are the kinds of photoshoots I love the most.
When great images happen not because the conditions are perfect, but because of the people. Because of trust, openness, and the willingness to create something beautiful together.
For me, this series is also about femininity in all its forms. It is never just one thing. It can be gentle and bold, calm and passionate, mysterious and open-hearted. And it is exactly this diversity that makes it so beautiful.
A huge thank you to these amazing women for their trust, resilience, and for sharing this wonderful experience with me. This is only the beginning of the story. â¤ď¸
