What a colourful dream for the most relaxed Bride & Groom. SJ & Gordy wanted their wedding photos to be completely natural and ‘true to life’ with lots of kids (young & old) having a ball and keeping it real. Family and community were at the heart of this very special day. 💕

to the 1930s when Kyle’s sea traffic was a bit different than today. The turntable ferry was a recent addition to the scene - a step up from the small rowing boat that had previously transported passengers over the sea to Skye. The paddle steamer in the background is the PS Fusilier and ran the mail service between Mallaig, Kyle of Lochalsh, Broadford, Raasay and Portree.

Everyone is welcome to preview the recently refurbished museum. As well as tea and cake, there will be activities for the kids too (a great way to start the Easter holidays!)

Also it’s a lovely opportunity for a wee trip down memory lane while you browse through the archive films and photograph shown by Skye & Lochalsh Archive Centre.
