Leanne “LippyArt” Beetham was born in 1987, with a condition known as Arthrogyrposis Multiplex Congenita. Consequently, Leanne has adapted to using her mouth to do most daily tasks, including creating art, which she has been doing since 2 years old. She has always had an affinity for animals, and her passions have naturally combined. Leanne is an Associate member artist with the Mouth & Foot Paint
ing Artists (MFPA / VDMFK), as well as visual director and data wrangler with The Sumatra Camera Trap Project (SumatraCTP); she also occasionally volunteers with World Aid for Vulnerable Animals (WAVA); and has previously exhibited and fundraised with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), Macmillan Cancer Support, among various others. Using art, photos, videos, and live demos - LippyArt's mission is to educate the world on the importance of both disability awareness and wildlife conservation. She endeavours to break stereotypes, challenge perceptions, push boundaries, and to inspire others to create (no matter what their abilities). Life is too short for regrets - this world is a great big canvas, and we should be throwing all the paint on it we can! LippyArt is always looking to collaborate. She regularly attends various events; from demonstrations at local schools, to large charity exhibitions in London.
