🐾 A little Zeus appreciation post… 🐾

Today I took my boy Zeus to Lion’s Den Dog Field and let him have the BEST time! 🥰

For those who don’t know, Zeus is my muse. ❤️ He’s actually the reason I started my photography journey in the first place, so although today wasn’t a professional photoshoot, I obviously couldn’t resist taking a few snaps of him living his absolute best life! 😂📸

An hour of running, exploring, sniffing, bubbles and generally being a very happy boy in the enclosed field and woodland area. 🌳🐕

And honestly… look at that face! 😍

Lion’s Den Dog Field is definitely one I’d recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to let your dog have a good run and explore safely. Zeus gives it a massive paws up! 🐾❤️

Sometimes you just have to put the camera settings aside and take some photos of your own dog having the time of his life. 🥹

Meet the gorgeous Chappie! 🥰

Chappie is an 11-year-old rescue Staffy and what an absolute pleasure he was to photograph.

He was such a good boy throughout the whole shoot, although he did seem to think that rolling over for a treat was much more important than having his photo taken! 😂 Honestly, it was hilarious and just made him even more adorable.

It was so lovely meeting Chappie and his owner and hearing a little about his story. He really is the most wonderful, happy boy who is clearly living his very best life. ❤️

It was an absolute honour to capture some special memories of him and I’m so pleased with how his images turned out. 📸

A big thank you also to Tickton Farm for being such a beautiful location for Chappie’s shoot. 🌻🌼 The wildflowers and sunflowers were looking incredible and of course I couldn’t leave without picking myself a gorgeous bunch! If you’re local, definitely go and have a look at their page and see what they have to offer, their flowers are absolutely beautiful. 🌻 TicktonFarm

Celebrate National Dog Day with us this coming Wednesday between 4pm–9pm — we'd love to see you and your four-legged friends there!

We're raising funds for Carr House Dog Rescue Hull and have a lovely evening planned, including:

🐕 Dog Social Walk & Natter – 6:30pm (lasts around 1 hour)

📸 Photo area with Gemma’s Dog Photography, also capturing natural moments throughout the evening
🐾 Make Your Own Clay Paw Print – create a special keepsake of your four-legged friend

The fun starts from 4pm, so why not come along early for an early tea, drinks and nibbles, let your pup enjoy the enrichment area, make a clay paw print keepsake, have some photos taken and browse the doggy stalls before we head off on our walk at 6:30pm?

👨‍👩‍👧 Bringing the kids?

It's still the summer holidays, so why not make it a family evening? Kids eat for just £1 with any adult main meal, so you can enjoy an early tea with the kids and join in the fun. 🐶❤️

Come for the whole evening or simply join us for the walk — we'd love to welcome you!
