☀️🐾 Keeping Cool with Zeus! 🐾☀️

Meet Zeus and his way of staying cool during the heatwave… 😂💦

We bought him a paddling pool to splash around in, but apparently Zeus thinks it’s actually a giant digging pit! Safe to say the water doesn’t last very long once he’s had a go at it! 🤦‍♀️🤣

I’d love to see how your dogs are coping with the warm weather. Do they enjoy a paddle, stretch out in the shade, demand all the ice cubes, or have their own quirky way of keeping cool? 🐶❄️

Last weekend was absolutely brilliant covering the Paws in the Pasture Dog Show across two wonderful days! 🐾

I had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing dogs and their lovely owners, and as someone who genuinely loves dogs, it was an absolute joy from start to finish. Every dog I met had their own unique personality, and I feel incredibly lucky to have spent the weekend surrounded by so many beautiful faces and wagging tails.

I was also delighted that people stopped by for mini portrait sessions throughout the event. Here is a selection of some of the gorgeous dogs I had the pleasure of photographing. Honestly, every single one of them was a star in front of the camera! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported my small photography business over the weekend. Your support means so much, and it was even more special knowing that a portion of every session fee contributed towards the fantastic total raised for Hull Animal Welfare Trust.

I’d also like to say a special thank you to The Licking Bowl for reaching out and inviting me to be part of such a fantastic event. It was a privilege to be involved, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity.

🐾 Exciting News! 🐾

I’m so excited to be attending Paws At The Mile Dog Event in Pocklington, where I’ll be offering mini dog photography sessions throughout the day! 📸🐶 Part of the fee will go towards raising vital funds for Carr House Rescue ❤️

I can’t wait to meet lots of wonderful dogs and their owners, capture some beautiful memories, and spend the day surrounded by fellow dog lovers.

A huge thank you to The Licking Bowl for inviting me to be part of this fantastic event. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait for the day to arrive!

🏆🐾 Paws in the Pasture – Day 2 Winners! 🐾🏆

A huge congratulations to all of today’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! 🎉👏

Thank you to everyone who entered the dog show this weekend. The standard was incredibly high, and choosing the winners was no easy task. Every single dog that stepped into the ring was absolutely gorgeous and a worthy winner in their own right. We loved seeing so many wonderful dogs and their proud owners taking part.

📸 Here are the photos of today’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, along with our overall Best in Show winner!

As you’ll see from the photos, getting dogs to sit nicely together on a winners’ podium is definitely easier said than done! 😂🐶 It proved to be quite a challenge at times, but it was also one of the most entertaining parts of the day.

🏆 Best in Show – Dylan the Bernese Mountain Dog! 🏆

What a stunning boy Dylan is, and a very deserving winner. He certainly stole the show today and captured everyone’s hearts. Congratulations to Dylan and his family! ❤️🐶

A very special thank you also goes to our fantastic judge, Rosie. At just 8 years old, she did an absolutely amazing job. Rosie was confident, thoughtful and fair throughout the day, making what is actually a very difficult job look easy. She truly bossed it from start to finish and should definitely consider doing this as a full-time job one day! 🌟👏

Thank you again to everyone who supported Paws in the Pasture, entered the classes, cheered from the sidelines and helped make Day 2 such a brilliant success. We couldn’t have done it without you all.

🐾 Paws in the Pasture – Day 2 🐾

What a fantastic second day at Paws in the Pasture! The weather was much kinder to us today, not too hot, and thankfully the wind had disappeared, which was a blessing for everyone attending and all the wonderful stallholders.

Once again, we were treated to a fabulous turnout, and it was amazing to see so many dogs and their owners enjoying the day. A huge thank you to everyone who entered the dog show, visited the stalls, and supported the local businesses that helped make the weekend such a success.

Most importantly, together we helped raise valuable funds for Hull Animal Welfare Trust, an incredible charity doing so much for animals in need.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting so many lovely people and, of course, their beautiful four-legged friends. Thank you for all your support, smiles, and conversations throughout the weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a fantastic event and hope to see many of you again in the future.

I couldn’t go through the Paws in the Pasture dog show today without making a purchase for my boy, Zeus! 🐾💙

I came across this beautiful dog tag from Slice of Wild and The Lickin Bowl and just had to get it for him. It’s such a lovely keepsake and suits him perfectly. They had many more to choose from and will be there tomorrow ❤️

There were so many fantastic stalls to browse around, and it was great to support some of the wonderful local businesses at the event. Safe to say Zeus has been well and truly spoiled! 🐶✨

🏆 Paws in the Pasture – Day 1 Winners! 🏆

What a fantastic first day of our dog show! We had so many wonderful entries across all of our classes, and the judges certainly had some difficult decisions to make.
Congratulations to all of today’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, every dog that took part was a star and made the competition incredibly tough! 🐾❤️

A special congratulations goes to all of our Best in Show finalists, and an even bigger congratulations to our overall winner of the day…

Chase, you absolutely stole everyone’s hearts and made your mum incredibly proud. What a well-deserved achievement! 🏆🐕

Thank you to everyone who entered, supported the classes, and helped make the first day such a success. The smiles, wagging tails and amazing dogs made it a day to remember.

We’re looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow and can’t wait to see all of the fantastic entries for Day 2.

What an amazing first day at Paws in the Pasture! 🐾

Despite the wind and rain, we didn’t let the weather spoil the fun, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be.
