Robyn & Richard | Intimate Wedding

Robyn & Richard’s wedding yesterday was as intimate as they come - just the two of them, their parents, and their dog (dressed in her own kilt, obviously) 🐾

They got married at Christ Church Lanark before heading to Lanark Mill Hotel to celebrate. Two very private people who clearly adore each other. It was just the closest of family - and honestly, it suited them perfectly.

Introducing the new Fior Photography website 🤍

It's taken a lot of work behind the scenes, and I've genuinely poured myself into it. My hope is that when you land on it, it feels calm and easy, and gives you a real sense of who you're booking when you choose Fior. Weddings are the heart of what I do, but you'll find families in there too, and you might even spot yourself in there somewhere 👀

Yesterday I spent an hour with this family at Portencross, and it was such a lovely one.
With family sessions I try to catch people just as they actually are, not a stiff, posed version of them. Emmi is 16, and having a camera pointed at you probably isn't top of the list for most teenagers, so there was no pressure at all - just space to be part of it in her own way. Fern, on the other hand, was straight in, loving every second and showing off those gorgeous blonde curls.
The views at Portencross did a lot of the work too - honestly one of my favourite spots in Ayrshire to shoot at.
Thank you to this family for trusting me with an hour of their time and letting me capture them exactly as they are 🤍

Family session in Dunure 🤍

Steph, Barry, Abbey, Aliya and I spent some time yesterday wandering around Dunure beach.

A busy family wanting to document their team, just as they are.

Wonderful barn wedding in Fife 🤍

What can I say… views for miles, a beautiful farmhouse, a stunning bride, a groom and groomsmen suited and booted, children running around, an outdoor ceremony, drinks flowing, speeches that had everyone laughing (and tearing up), and the dreamiest barn reception.

It felt relaxed from beginning to end, with lots of love and so many moments to remember. So grateful I got to be there to tell Poppy & Kevin’s story.
