Calling all dog lovers – it’s time to spoil your pooch and get them the attention they deserve!

Join us this International Dog Day for a wag-tastic afternoon filled with professional dog portraits, tasty treats, and plenty of tail wags. Whether your dog’s a diva or a do**us, we’ll capture their personality paw-fectly thanks to FOCUS Photography.

We've set up a selfie wall made from the yarn that's being sold right now.

You can donate at Jelleyfest 4 on 2nd and 3rd August to get your selfie! All donations will go straight to JHAC to be able to give back to the community and helps keep the old victorian carpet factory up and running.

The wall isn't for sale however we have plenty more yarn at JHAC - Jelleyman's Heritage Arts Charity you can grab as much as you want!

Hurry though they're going quick. Once it's gone that's it. No more yarn.

Word of advice... It's carpet yarn so not suitable for a baby blanket but plenty of uses.

Yesterday was a great turn out. We had the mayor turn up! Met new families.

GRAND REOPENING ANNOUNCEMENT – A Studio Designed with SEND in Mind

Hi everyone, it’s Cam here – I’m so proud to announce that Focus Photography is reopening, and this time, it’s been completely reimagined with SEND-inclusivity at its heart.

As an autistic photographer, I know how stressful and overwhelming traditional studios can be – the harsh lights, the noise, the unpredictability. That’s why I’ve transformed my studio into a space that’s gentle, quiet, and welcoming for individuals and families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The new setup includes soft, adjustable lighting, a clutter-free layout, a quiet break area, and one-to-one sessions by appointment – so no crowds, no stress, and no rushing.

I’d love to invite you to join me for our Grand Reopening Mini-Event:
📅 Tuesday 22nd July

On the day, you’ll be able to enjoy:
– A free photo session including 2 digital photos and 2 printed copies
– Sensory-friendly activities in a quiet room
– Free goodie bags for every child
– Soft music, chilled vibes, and no pressure
– A livestream of the ribbon cutting
– Refreshments and a calm, welcoming space

The event is completely free to attend, but we’ll also be raising funds to help repair the lift at JHAC – a vital step to making the whole building fully accessible for people with mobility challenges. Every penny raised will go directly to that cause.

I’ve also launched something called Community Cuddles – where every child visiting the studio gets to take home their own teddy. If you have any new or gently-loved cuddly toys to donate, please feel free to drop them off at JHAC between 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

This isn’t just a reopening – it’s a step towards making photography more inclusive, more mindful, and more human. Whether you’ve visited before or this is your first time, I’d love to welcome you.
