Rebecca arrived at the door of Hotel du Vin Cheltenham with her bouquet in one hand and her bag in the other. Matthew was already inside, sitting quietly in the lounge, waiting.

From that first frame to the last, this was a day that knew exactly what it was: relaxed, warm, and completely itself.

Outdoor ceremony in May sunshine. Confetti. The streets of Cheltenham for portraits. The spiral staircase. And then, as the evening came in, that chandelier.

Rebecca and Matthew, congratulations. It was a privilege to be there.

Twenty-seven years together. Four children.

One warm afternoon in May at Blakelands Country House in Bobbington, it was finally official.

Tammy and Lee’s wedding day had everything: an outdoor ceremony in the walled garden with the bluebells still out, confetti in the courtyard, the lads with their personalised plates lined up in the paddock, yellow smoke bombs with the kids and sparklers under the festoon lights as the evening closed in.

The lake portraits came last.

Off-camera flash on the jetty, the still water holding the reflection below them, the dark treeline behind.

Fifteen minutes away from the party. Worth every second.

Tammy and Lee, thank you for having me along. Twenty-seven years is a long time coming.

If you are planning a wedding at Blakelands and are looking for a photographer who will document the whole day and stay for the night time photos, link in bio.

Terezia & Scott | Hogarths Stone Manor, Worcestershire

Hogarths Stone Manor on a spring morning is something else. The formal parterre garden set up for an outdoor ceremony, a full white-and-blue floral arch over the signing table, and bright April light flooding across the stonework as Terezia walked down the aisle with her dad.

That walk down the aisle shot, her face already breaking into a smile before she had even reached Scott, is one of those frames I wait for at every outdoor ceremony. It told the whole story before a single word was spoken.

We made the most of everything the estate has to offer. The ivy-covered courtyard walls, the wooden arbour in the late afternoon sun, a rapeseed field just beyond the grounds catching that golden hour light, and the orchard trees at night with off-camera flash and smoke grenades filling the air around them.

Hogarths Stone Manor is one of those Worcestershire wedding venues that gives you something different at every hour of the day. I have worked here as a recommended supplier for a number of years, and it never gets old.

Congratulations, Terezia and Scott. 6th April 2026. 🥂

Liz & Mick | The Limes Country Lodge, Worcestershire.

From an outdoor ceremony in the April sunshine to champagne sprays under the night sky, this one had everything.

Liz walked down the aisle to a full garden ceremony at The Limes Country Lodge, with the thatched gazebo as the backdrop and every seat filled with people who genuinely couldn’t wait to watch these two get married. Mick’s reaction when he saw her said everything that needed to be said.

We made the most of the grounds, the fishing lake, the fountain, and the tipi before the light dropped, then pulled out the off-camera flash and blue smoke grenades for the bridal party shots.

Then finished the evening with back-to-back champagne sprays on the lawn.

The Limes Country Lodge is one of those Worcestershire wedding venues that gives you so much to work with.

Outdoor ceremonies, acres of grounds, and dark open sky in the evening for creative portraits.

Congratulations, Liz and Mick. 2nd April 2026. 🥂

Ten years together, two kids, and a Halloween proposal later.

Nicolle & Paul celebrated their love story exactly where it began: with each other.

Their Shustoke Barn wedding was everything: golden light, champagne sprays, silhouettes at dusk, and a wooden cart flower-girl moment that had everyone in their feelings.

This is what happens when two people who genuinely make each other laugh plan a wedding their way.

When Rain Makes the Day Even More Memorable 🌧️💕

Jess and Brian's Hogarths Stone Manor wedding on August 30th is the perfect reminder that the best wedding days aren't about perfect weather, they're about perfect moments.

The forecast promised rain. It delivered. But what could have been disappointing became an opportunity for creativity and genuine celebration.

Their day included: ☁️ An intimate Drawing Room ceremony with stunning floral decor by The Wedding House Droitwich 🌧️ Quick thinking when rain stopped outdoor group photos (hello, beautiful corridor portraits!) 🎵 A surprise that had everyone talking, singer waiters from Blue Diamond Entertainment who transformed from staff to performers mid-service! 💨 Green smoke bombs in the grounds when the weather finally cooperated 🥂 And THAT champagne spray finale... Brian went all in, creating an explosive cascade that drenched them both in pure joy

From Jess getting ready with her flower girl to that spectacular nighttime magic outside the hotel entrance, every moment told its story.

This is what I love about documentary wedding photography: capturing the day as it actually unfolds, rain and all. The genuine laughter, the surprise performances, and the spontaneous creative moments make each wedding unique.

See their complete wedding story on the blog (link in comments!) 📸✨

Massive thanks to the team at Hogarths Stone Manor for their flexibility, and to all the amazing suppliers who made this day special.

Congratulations again, Jess and Brian! Your celebration was pure magic 💕
