Discovering the hidden gems of Northamptonshire's woodlands.

These are a few shots from a walk inside Lings Wood in Northampton which may have been part of the larger Rockingham Forest, former royal hunting forest in Northamptonshire, England, that is now a collection of ancient woodlands with diverse habitats like woodlands, grasslands, and wetlands.

It’s pretty flat and farmland-heavy where I live in the Midlands — but that has its own kind of charm. Took the drone out for a wee scout last night.
The sky? Mostly boring.
But the setting sun cast this painterly orange glow across the land… not perfect
