✨What you see on social media is the finished portrait✨

What you don’t see are the bubbles 🫧 the splashes 💦 the funny noises, and all the little moments in between.

Parents often tell me they’re worried their baby won’t smile, sit still, or enjoy the session.

The truth is, they don’t need to.

The best photographs happen when babies are simply allowed to be themselves curious, cheeky, messy, and completely in the moment.

That’s what first birthday sessions are really about. Not perfect poses, but celebrating this incredible milestone before it becomes another memory.

And yes… most babies absolutely love the splash session afterwards! 🛁🎈

One of the things I love most about newborn photography is knowing just how quickly this stage passes.

Those tiny fingers, sleepy cuddles, little stretches and the way they fit perfectly in your arms won't stay this small for long. Before you know it, they're smiling, sitting up and taking their first steps.

That's why newborn sessions are so special to me. They're about slowing down for a couple of hours and preserving the details you never want to forget.

My studio is a cosy, relaxed space where there's no rush. Whether your baby sleeps the entire session or decides they want to stay awake and take it all in, we simply work around them. Every session is led by your baby and designed to feel calm and stress-free for the whole family.

Parents, siblings and even family pets are welcome to be part of the experience, creating memories you'll treasure for years to come.

6 months later my beautiful niece Olivia is back in my studio for her sitter session! 🩷

Can’t believe her newborn session was 6 months ago!

The sitter stage (usually around 6–9 months) is one of the sweetest stages to capture… and one so many parents accidentally skip 🤍

This is when:

They’re just starting to sit up all by themselves
The chunky rolls are at their peak 🥹
Their personality is starting to shine through
You’re getting giggles, curiosity and the BEST eye contact

They’re not off running around just yet…
but they’re no longer that tiny newborn either.

It’s the perfect in-between stage full of smiles, squishy cheeks and pure baby magic ✨

I had so much fun working with Tia and her gorgeous model Sophie creating beautiful headshots and branding content for her makeup business

We captured a mix of clean professional headshots in both Tia’s makeup studio and my photography studio to give her plenty of variety for social media, marketing and behind the scenes content.
