🇦🇺 WHAT A TRIP!

I’ve had an absolutely brilliant time in Australia, catching up with family and friends, exploring a bit and making some great memories along the way.

But the main reason for the trip was to celebrate Marty’s birthday, and what a celebration it was! 🎉🥳

So much fun, plenty of laughs and some memories I’ll definitely be taking home with me.

One of the events I’ve been really proud to film this year was Pride in Coalville.

There’s something special about filming Pride, the people, the atmosphere, the performances, the community and all the little moments that happen throughout the day. My aim is always to capture that energy naturally and create something that brings the event back to life.

Just wanted to take a minute this Sunday to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been part of the Just Connor Films journey so far.

To every follower, customer, YouTube subscriber, colleague and everyone who’s recommended me, shared my work or simply supported what I’m doing, thank you. It genuinely means a lot.

This year has gone from strength to strength, from filming weddings and proms to tattoo studios, Pride festivals, events and everything in between. Every project has taught me something new and introduced me to some brilliant people.

I’m still building, still learning and still chasing the next story, and I honestly couldn’t do it without the people around me.

So… let’s keep the momentum going, gang!

I’m really excited to share a new four-part documentary series taking us deep into Kerr Layen, one of The Gambia’s remotest villages.

Across four episodes, we’ll get a glimpse into everyday life in the village, meet the people who call it home, and explore the challenges faced by the community.

We’ll also follow the work of African Village Dream, a small charity working alongside the community to help make a real difference, from supporting families to improving homes, education and everyday life.

This is a very personal project for me, and I’m looking forward to sharing the people, stories and reality of Kerr Layen with you.
