Very much loving doing little memento videos for newly weds, here's one of two (the after wedding part) just delivered for an April wedding at Sketchley Grange, first time ever with a smashing backing track that matches their names which they used for their first dance, just beautifully poetic.

Video highlights with some images of the day added in.

I've covered some really wonderful weddings already this year, the photography is always my top priority but I've really enjoyed putting together some highlight memento behind the scenes videos for couples and it's a process I'm evolving all the time. Every video has it's own unique vibe and they are a huge amount of fun to put together even though it gives me a ton more work it's well worth it.

Handheld in camera Video is captured from any of the three cameras I carry, two monopods are strategically placed during the ceremony and first dance to capture stable footage and finally a body action camera to give that first person photographers viewpoint which can be handy during the confetti walk.

All couples can request one during their consultations, three from this year has been added to the Behind The Scenes section of the portfolio website.

Wedding season kicks off for me big style over this weekend with two big weddings over Friday and Saturday, I may need a good sleep in on Sunday! The first two of 52 weddings this year so I have my work cut out but will no doubt love every moment, always a million things to capture.

To kick things off feature wise this months showcase wedding is from The Barnsdale in Rutland, fabulous venue with a very nice rustic feel and the Bride and Grooms Cowboy theme worked oh so well. I'm heading back there for another wedding near the end of the month so very much looking forward to that one too. Here's just a few from that day.
