A little dedication post to local bike club, and affiliated bike clubs from neighbouring counties.

On first appearances, bike clubs probably look a bit a scary to most. With their black leather waistcoats (cuts), tattoos, dark tinted visors, big Harley Davidsons and loud pipes.

But under the helmets, they are in fact normal everyday people who you would probably bump into down the pub. Some are grafters, some have senior positions in private businesses and others are ex-military veterans.

Throughout the year they take part in charity fund raisers, help local community projects. And in October you'll see them at the National Memorial Arboretum, remembering those who gave their life.

So next time you see them out on the road. Don't be alarmed by their loud pipes or daunting appearance. But instead give them a wave or a thumbs up 👍

🇺🇸 Dakota Cheeseburger 🇺🇸

We would like to introduce the first of our new range of Wartime inspired burgers. Starting off with the Dakota Cheeseburger.

Dedicated to the Douglas C-47 Skytrain, dubbed Dakota by the RAF. And was used extensively in Allied Airborne Operations during the Second World War. In various roles such as troop transport, cargo, paratrooper drops, glider towing, and military cargo parachute drops. The Dakota also played a vital role in Operations such as Overlord & Market.

Our Dakota Cheeseburger is inspired by a traditional American style cheeseburger. Featuring a 1/4 pound burger, American cheese, gherkins, onions, ketchup & burger sauce in a lightly toasted bun.
