One week until Christmas 🎄

I’ve heard this a lot today. I’m just not mentally ready yet for the next 5 days of chaos, trying to get everything ready and make everything magic 🙈

Photography is like therapy to me. When I’m not feeling quite right, I can hide in my editing cave and forget the world for a few hours. Giving my mind something to focus on, away from the chaos of life helps me reset.

And bringing incredible memories to life for incredible families, fills my cup like nothing else quite does 🤍

🤍I’m Mummy to a headstrong, just turned 3-year-old and cockerpoo. They are both blo*dy bonkers.

🖤I’ve got a thing for swishy dresses and a sharp suit. Timeless classics you say? Yup, they’re my jam over trends.

🤍I follow my heart,
believe in taking chances,
and love deeply.
I value feeling safe, loved & respected.

🖤Communication is not my forte, which is probably why I’ve always shown my emotions through art and actions better than with words.

🤍I put the highest value on my memories.
My biggest fear is loosing them.

🖤Beach days and sunsets make my heart glow. Travel is my therapy, and always has been. New Zealand is my favourite country to date

🤍I’m a city girl at heart: I love days exploring, evenings wandering, taking in the buzz and ‘pretty lights’ (as my son calls them 🥹)

🖤When I get a rare night off mummy-ing, coffee catch up’s and date nights in a cute little wine bar is my happy place 💫

Being around so many pregnant ladies yesterday got me reminiscing 🥹 So when these popped up on my time hop from 2 years ago I couldn’t resist sharing 🥰

Rowan was 22 months old and my studio was freshly build. I barely remember him at this age anymore, but my heart is really missing this version of him.

At the time I remember taking these pictures hoping I would get just a few decent shots of us. I set up the tripod, set the shutter to intermittent release and hoped for the best.

One of the best things I’ve ever captured, just a moment of me and my baby boy before full blown toddlerhood came hurtling at us.

I’m proud of me - for getting out my comfort zone, dressing up and doing this for us on a random February Sunday morning. somewhere between Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day - when spring is on the cusp and it feels like a new chapter is about to begin ☺️

So 2 years on, on another random Sunday morning, with Mother’s Day just around corner - here’s your nudge to get in some pictures Mum.

You deserve it 🥰
