Sometimes the simplest frame adds so much beauty to a little oil painting. Here I’ve been framing some of my 18 x 24cm small original oil paintings on linen board. At the moment the landscapes are for me! And the two flowers are going to new homes. How exciting x

When your art room returns to calm after the wonderful open studios. A massive thank you to everyone who came to visit. We had 273 visitors altogether, which is fantastic given that you have to get up a very steep hill to Heptonstall in the first place. And relax X

A gathering of lovely people rounding off the Hebden Bridge Open Studio weekend, if we had any energy left we’d have a wrap party! But you know we’ve been playing deep house grooves all weekend - “you can feel it in your body…” the art, the love, the people that show up for you. Thank you so much to everyone who came along to mine and Kate’s open studio. We appreciate you, we feel you, good grooves all round ###
