I'm expanding my 'jewellery inspired by crafts and interestingly designed objects' this year because um, I feel like it!
Here's a few photos from my bench this week of making of embroidery hoop. These will become a pendants - I couldn't decide whether to oxidise (blacken) or not, so I made 2 prototypes.
This week I'm going to make a crochet hook bangle and more of my little pencils.🤔

What else should I make?

🪷 L O T U S 🪷

About 3 weeks ago I had a plea from a USA customer wanting quick delivery of a Lotus Pin to wear to the New York premier of The Odyssey.
I absolutely love this story but I had totally forgotten about the Lotus-Eaters in Book 9!
So, you can safely wear my Lotus to an occasion & feel beautiful but you'll still want return home afterwards.
I'm treating myself to a trip to the pictures to watch the film - I really hope they've done a good job on this epic!

Finally!
Honestly, I've been trying to grow this for quite a while with not much success but Judy from started me off with this amazing Lunaria variety that goes from purple to shining silver. I've been wearing this Honesty bangle all year, waiting (so if the bangle looks a bit worn, it's because this one is!) I love this stage in the garden when it's less busy getting plants in and busier admiring seed pods 😍
