Family is everything and as a family, we have always valued photographic memories. Whether it be family holidays, special events or just general goofing around, we know that one day each of us will only exist in photos. Not only do we take photos but we print them out either to hang on walls or in photo albums.

Well... it isn't really needed. But recently we had a family visit who said their baby settles really well to the sound of a hairdryer! So out came our hairdryer and it worked like a charm, Then we discovered a 2 hour YouTube video of hairdryer white noise!

Do's and Don'ts of dressing for your family photoshoot

Do
☑Plan ahead and don't leave it until the day before the session to get your outfits organised
☑Coordinate your look by choosing a colour theme
☑Wear something that feels comfortable and authentic to you
☑Wear comfortable shoes (location shoots often involve a bit of walking)

Don't
❌ Go matchy matchy - it is too much if everyone wears similar outfits and colours. Think coordinate not match
❌ Wear t-shirts or tops with slogans and logos (this can be distracting)
❌Have phones and wallets in pockets - this looks naff

Happy Birthday Sara

Sara really doesn't enjoy celebrating her birthday. A typical conversation about it usually goes like this:

Lee: What do you want for your birthday?
Sara: Nothing (AKA you better get me something though)
Lee: Shall we go out somewhere?
Sara: Could do (we aren't going anywhere)
Lee: Why don't you like birthdays?
Sara: I don't like celebrating (but if you don't buy me a present, decorate the house with balloons and arrange a surprise I will be very unhappy)

We are looking for a newborn model (or two)

🤍 To create images in some nature-inspired setups🤍 To make behind-the-scenes images and video content to use on our social channels

A model release will need to be signed giving us permission to use images for marketing purposes.

As a thank you, we will give you a collection of images from the session.
