HAPPY WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK 💕

There was a time when these moments were hidden.

A mother would quietly leave the room, cover herself up or feel like she had to apologise for simply feeding her baby.

This World Breastfeeding Week, I want to celebrate the incredible journey that breastfeeding can be and the amazing things our bodies are capable of.

As a family photographer, some of my favourite images aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the quiet pauses. The milk-drunk cuddles. The little hand resting on mum’s chest. The way a baby looks at the person who is their whole world.

If breastfeeding happens naturally during one of my sessions, I’ll always gently offer to document it. Not because it’s about how your baby was fed, but because it’s part of your story. One chapter in the beautiful, messy, emotional adventure of motherhood.

These moments deserve to be seen.
They deserve to be celebrated.
And they deserve to be remembered.

To every mum who has breastfed, is breastfeeding, combination fed, bottle fed or found motherhood looked different to what they expected—this is a celebration of you and the love you pour into your children every single day. 🤍

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads I’ve had the privilege of photographing over the years. 🤍

To the brand new dads finding their feet…
The exhausted dads running on coffee and cuddles…
The dads who only came because “mum booked it” (and secretly ended up enjoying it 😉)…
The single dads doing it all…
The stepdads, grandads, father figures…
And yes… even the dog dads. 🐶

I hope today has been full of love, laughter, and a reminder of just how important you are.

Thank you for trusting me to capture the moments your children will look back on one day. The hugs, the chaos, the piggybacks, the silly faces, and the quiet cuddles—they’re never “just photos.” They’re part of your family’s story.

I must have been a field mouse in a previous life, it’s the only explanation 🐭

Wildflowers? Love them.
Long grass? Perfect.
Woodland edge? Stunning.
Potentially crawling with mice, ticks and other questionable Apparently not a deal breaker. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Worth it though. ✨📸
