Well… it’s been a busy month and this too is a bit special 🖤

And just like that… it’s real.

Today I’m holding something pretty special… my photography printed in the latest special edition of Docu Magazine.

There’s something completely different about seeing images you captured out in the world now sitting on actual printed pages.

From wandering with a camera…
to a moment frozen in time…
to ink on paper.

A reminder that sometimes the small steps you take with something you love can lead somewhere unexpected.

Thank you to everyone who’s followed, supported and encouraged my photography journey along the way.

It definitely means more than you realise.

I was so drawn to this when I visited Brighton recently, but it wasn’t until I was rising up on the Brighton i360 that I properly realised what I was looking at.

These are the remains of Brighton’s West Pier. First opened in 1866, closed to the public in 1975, and later devastated by two major fires in 2003, both widely reported as arson. What’s left now is just the haunting skeleton of something that once stood at the heart of the seafront.

There’s something about it that stops you. Beautiful, broken, and impossible to ignore.
