Whitby sunset on Wednesday! Whitby is a rare place where the sun sets and rises from the sea in high summer. This sunset was particularly awesome. And it was so quiet because everyone was watching England play football!

Yorkshire Dales pass from Grassington to Linton Falls in summer. I stayed in a fabulous BnB in Grassington, and learned that local people call this lane Snake Pass. One of the most photographed places in Yorkshire Dales!

Sunset at Castle Howard yesterday, I am so glad I waited until the golden hour, the colours of nature and the light became magical ❤️❤️
These are taken with 300mm lens on my old Canon 6d, the house is not that close! I have hundreds more pictures to edit.

This wonderful time of year in Muker meadows, North Yorkshire, Swaledale, Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is beautiful area , I love all the barns and the drystone walls, but it is even more gorgeous in yearly summer, in June the meadows burst with colour of wildflowers. 💚💛💙

Beautiful white wisteria arch in Sledmere House and gardens yesterday, in the formal garden part. This is Japanese wisteria that flowers later than Chinese variety because it's flowers grow together with the leaves and require more energy 💚 That's what research tells me, although I adore gardens, I don't do much myself, may be one time!
So unbelievably beautiful. 💚💚💚

Laburnum in Temple Newsam - with or without the person? I think I actually prefer the version with the person, although I normally wait when the coast is clear. It seems like only yesterday I visited, and now laburnum has almost completed the flower season. I do livd this stage though, like gently lemon-coloured snow. I have heard laburnum called “yellow wisteria “, but these are two distinct plants, both from pea family! But laburnum is not good for humans, wash your hands when touching!

Bolton Castle in Wensleydale, Yorkshire Dales, off the beaten track but very beautiful. I was so glad I had a chance to see it this Sunday morning, it was too early for the castle to open but also this meant a very quiet moment for a good wonder about. I really loved the village and the castle, and later learned that this was one of the places of imprisonment of Mary, Queen of Scotts, who is one of the most fascinating figures in British history. One day, if stay close, I would love to spend a good few hours here and visit the castle properly, it looks so well preserved.
The church looked very beautiful too ❤️💙💚

Happy Bank Holiday Monday - I hope you all had a wonderful time in this glorious weather! My part of the world for a little bit was this! A wonderful campsite in Cowgill, Yorkshire Dales National Park , Dentdale. Dentdale is one my favourite places to escape when I want some time to spend in peace, to reconnect with the nature ❤️💚🧡💙 And the was a fantastic sunset I watched right from the campsite, wild flowers growing beautifully in the meadow 💛💛
