📸 Doorstep Photos Revisited

Lockdown already seems like a distant surreal memory? The quiet, the walks, the home-schooling, the baking… and those precious moments of family life that we never expected to become memories?

Six years on, I’m revisiting a project that was very special to me — my Doorstep Photoshoots.

I’m hoping to create a book bringing together people’s memories of lockdown, alongside some of the family photographs I took during those strange and unforgettable months.

Were you one of the 300+ families I photographed and would like love to be part of the new project?

As part of this, I’m offering 3 local families a FREE 40 min family photoshoot, including a beautiful 10 x 8 framed print worth £75

📍 Shoots will take place around West Haddon and surrounding villages over the next two weeks.

And there’s an extra reason to get involved — some of the proceeds from the finished book will be donated to Breast Cancer Now.

The weather may be grim outside but the studio still offers a great location for family portraits. What a lovely way to celebrate Pete’s 90th birthday with a family shoot involving three generations! All the families have come away with some great lasting memories to treasure forever. After the shoot the family gathering was extended with a birthday meal. Such a great idea…I know I have struggled in the past for ideas for elderly loved ones.
