Coming February 2024; Glossop LGBTQ+, in association with Dark Peak Photo Festival, are presenting an LGBTQ+ History Month Photography Exhibition, to be displayed in Glossop Labour Club from 1st – 29th February 2024. LGBTQ+ History Month gives us the opportunity to reflect on the experiences of the LGBTQ+ commun
ity as individuals and groups. It invites us to:
- Claim our past
- Celebrate our present
- Create our future
The exhibition gives you the opportunity to interpret this in any way you wish using photography. This could include portraits, places, activism, influences… You can also submit an optional short piece of text or poetry to go alongside the image. Submission Criteria;
- The photographer should identify as LGBTQ+
- Maximum of 3 photographs to be submitted per person
- All photos to be A4 (or high enough resolution to print on A4 paper)
- Be able to cover the cost of printing the images (we will be seeking funding, but we may have to self fund)
- Images should be family friendly - i.e. erotic pictures are allowed but nothing pornographic in nature, as the exhibition will be held in a family friendly venue. How to submit to the exhibition;

- Each image must have your full name and the name or number of the photo as the file name.
