It’s about 6:30am. You couldn’t see where you parked last night but it turned out to be a perfect place to camp.

The birds have had you up for about 30 minutes, so you decide to grab your camera, pop on coffee on the stove, and see if you can get a photo of a northern skylark.

You don’t get any shots, you don’t even press the shutter, but the moka pot has started to whistle. So it’s time to go and watch the tide, and listen to the birds.
