One of the reasons we moved from London to Glasgow was to be closer to family. We wanted our children to know their grandparents, and for them to be a part of their lives whilst they were still fit and well.

Not everyone has the same opportunity for whatever reason, but by gosh that generational bond and love is so wonderful to witness.

So gather the grandparents and let's make some lasting memories with them!

I love newborn in-home sessions. Being invited into the newborn bubble to capture snippets of your family's new chapter is something to behold.

From candid storytelling by toddlers and quiet snuggles with mum and dad - there is so much extraordinary in those everyday moments....

The added bonus is everyone is in their comfortable space, postpartum mums don't need to travel anywhere, everything is at hand, snacks a plenty and the weather is the least of our concerns.

There are so many lessons in Motherhood, but the one I'm currently practicing is slowing down and sitting in stillness. I feel overwhelmed sometimes by the juggling, the mothering, all the while trying to be a good partner, sister, daughter and friend - it's a lot! 

But taking time to reflect, prioritize what's important, exercise, give myself the permission to pause rather than continue with the status quo of doing more in hope to achieve more is something I'm learning to do...

So for all the tired, overwhelmed mothers juggling, I see you. You’re stronger than you think, and more capable than you can ever imagine - you're doing GREAT!!

Toddlers, the FUN stage! 
Their personalities are showing, they're unapologetic, uninhibited, completely ruled by their emotions and desires. They're fearless and loud, unafraid to tell it how it is even if it's undistinguishable babble. But most of all, they're forgiving and sincere, loving, and oh so damn affectionate 💋💋
