Sometimes you have to wait for the city to go quiet before it shows you its best side.

Blue hour along the River Clyde — the Hydro glowing green, the Arc bridge mirrored in still water, the tall ship keeping watch. Glasgow at its most cinematic.

Let’s stretch some pixels, shall we? Was going through my library of images to see if I had something that can be useful for this kind of effect. Luckily a quick glance over my Instagram feed from few months ago gave me some nice subjects to apply the pixel stretch effect on.

Did any of these pics catch your eye? Let me know in comments.

Midnight glow over Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum ❤️❤️

Was feeling a little stressed so went for a late ight walk along with my camera of course 😊. Ended up taking a lot of photos along Kelvingrove Art Gallery and museum and Kelvinbridge. Someone rightly said, best therapy is to go out by yourself with your camera. Everything will be alright then 😊😊

Iconic view of Tyne Bridge in Newcastle upon Tyne with the red swing bridge in the foreground and the image taken all the way up from the High level bridge. In short lots of bridges.

It was my first visit to Newcastle and and had an amazing experience. This is one of many many many pics I took that day and also following day. Temperature was high and the views so spectacular overshadowed everything. Man that was so many steps to reach this point but then again the views are just 😍😍😍😍.

I have been very fortunate to capture the Squinty bridge aka The Clyde Arc from so many angles over the years. So if you ever want to ask me my favourite landmark in Glasgow, well here is the answer

Little bit about the bridge
The Clyde Arc, better known as Glasgow’s “Squinty Bridge” is one of the city’s most iconic modern landmarks. Opened in 2006, the bridge crosses the River Clyde at a noticeable angle rather than straight across, which is exactly how it earned its famous nickname.

Designed as part of Glasgow’s waterfront regeneration, the bridge connects Finnieston with Pacific Quay and Govan, linking some of the city’s biggest attractions including the SEC Armadillo, OVO Hydro, and Glasgow Science Centre. Its striking steel arch and futuristic design have made it a symbol of modern Glasgow and a favourite photo spot, especially at sunset or when illuminated at night.

Locals are known for giving landmarks playful nicknames — and alongside the “Squinty Bridge,” Glasgow also has the nearby “Squiggly Bridge.” Together they’ve become part of the city’s character and skyline.
