I haven’t posted on here for a while - life and uni taking up most of my time. But this week my youngest had her nursery photos taken. We practised her smile and it was spot on. Then we got be photos back…

Now I know life as a school/ nursery photographer must be rough. Cattle herding 2&3 year olds and trying to get something useable out of them isn’t something I’d be able to do. But honestly… when I got them back I just had to giggle. This photographer must’ve known I’d never buy them. However, I’m sure lots of parents got lovely ones.

So today, I had my camera and got a few shots. She’s not a posing kind of kid (unlike her sister) and so it’s important to not stress when these photos don’t work out. But if you need a redo, just message me!

COLOUR

I’ve seen a lot recently about colour editing photos. Typically, a lot of colour we see isn’t always picked up by the camera. Then it comes down to the photographer and client as to how much of this is added in. I’ve popped a photo I took yesterday below in its original form and then edited to add more colour. If you’re having photos taken, ask if you’d like more or less, or ask for options!
