Equine Visitors

When we set up for the eclipse we had some visitors from the semi-wild horses on the moors.

They tried eating our chippy, the blanket and sneezed on the Action 6 but they are tame to pet so was worth it 😊

Santa Maria Return

Five Minute Journeys – Pondside

Second of the Five Minute Journeys, this is a local fishing pond in the next village down the road from me.

Lovely location that’s really popular with families and dog walkers, with a proper path around.
On a sunny day like Sunday it was a lovely spot to stop for a wander on our Wedding Anniversary (29th 😊)

Five Minute Journeys - Wind Swept

Going to do a series of shots over next few days that I've taken locally, all about 5 mins car trip from home.

I feel photography doesn't need to be a huge trip to get an interesting shot, there is always something local that can make great shots when you only have a short amount of free time.

Felled

Those of you who have followed me for a while know we get up Lowther Plantation a lot for woodland shot.

Bit of a shock yesterday, felling has been done so the corridors of mossy logs and branches is now churned up tractor trails.

Now don't get me wrong, this is forestry land so is planted for logging, and it is selective felling but still a shock to see the woodland thinned out yesterday 😕
