Havent been out to shoot for a while due to work commitments and settling into my new job! Made me realise how much I missed it and the whole process! Still have a few ideas of some locations I'm interested in doing but it's just waiting for the right time for it to be exactly what im looking for! I came to this location a few weeks ago and couldn't really find a composition that really hit home for me! So tried to get a different perspective to the usual that you see of this area!

Popped out back down to newtown last night for a sunset shoot whilst the weather remains dry! I love this location after coming down a couple weeks ago, so many good compositions and a really photogenic place overall! Got plenty more ideas in the near future for new locations around the island, just waiting for the right conditions!

Went out for a sunset shoot last night and once again was treated to a great display! Although overall im very happy with what I came out with iv been encountering the same issue my last couple times out which is incredibly high winds anywhere near the coast and alot of low cloud. Although it isnt normally the shot I have in my head it does mean that I think a really long exposure tends to work pretty well with the fast paced clouds! Overall means another amazing sunset over this side of the island!

I will return one day to amazing New Zealand to photograph so many things I just didn't have the time to get too in the 12 months I lived there. The country that really got me into photography, what an incredible place it is!
