Behind the Wild
As a Guest Relations Host at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, I experience the magic of this place from behind the curtain, before the gates open, after the lights dim, and in the in-between moments that visitors rarely see.
Behind the Wild is a photographic tribute to the staff who make the reserve what it is. From keepers and rangers to hosts and cleaners, these are the people whose quiet dedication brings the vision of Port Lympne to life.
Through portraits and candid scenes, I aim to capture the soul of the reserve not just in its animals, but in the human hands and hearts that care for them. This work is personal, it’s a reflection of my own journey here, and of the deep respect I hold for the people I work alongside every day.
This exhibition invites you to step beyond the spectacle and witness the people who keep the wild alive.
