Hayley + Alex | Chelsea Old Town Hall | Lucky Cat

What a perfect day in London for Hayley + Alex’s small and intimate August wedding. With the weather finally cooling down and a lovely layer of cloud cover, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

They chose to celebrate with 28 of their closest friends and family with a ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall , their beautiful little girl Penelope as a bridesmaid and followed by dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Mayfair restaurant,

And I was even lucky enough to be invited to stay for some food too…….which I definitely wasn’t going to say no to!

It was one of those days where everything just worked effortlessly. Just two really lovely people, with their favourite people around them and topped off with incredible food.

Hayley + Alex, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your day. It was such a pleasure to be there with you all!!

I never hide the fact that home marquee weddings are my absolute favourite 🩷

Phoebe & Alfie were married at the beautiful Purleigh Church, followed by a reception in the garden of Phoebe’s parents’ home, just a short walk down the hill.

After a run of very very hot, sunny weddings, this warm but overcast day was perfect, and definitely appreciated by Alfie in his Royal Marines No.1 dress uniform!

This day couldn’t have been more perfect. A super relaxed morning, a lovely church ceremony led by the kindest vicar, and a marquee filled with the most beautiful flowers that had been created by Phoebe’s nan, a former florist 🤍Add some heartfelt speeches and topped off with tiramisu wedding cake. The wedding cake of dreams!

I really do get the best couples. Always down to earth, easy going, and trusting me to document their day naturally, with minimal posing and all the little in between details.

If you’re having a Marquee wedding and want to chat about booking me for your day, then drop me a message!!

Rachel + Craig at The Old Marylebone Town Hall 🩷

This beautiful London Town Hall is incredibly popular right now and after shooting there for the first time yesterday, I can completely see why!!

It absolutely oozes elegance and calm, with an effortless edge of cool. Over the years many famous people have married here too, including Paul McCartney (twice!), Liam Gallagher (also twice!), Ringo Starr, Cilla Black and very recently Dua Lipa, to name a few.

Rachel and Craig booked me for 2 hours to capture their intimate ceremony in the Pimlico Room with 18 of their closest people, followed by a walk to a nearby pub, The Larrick.

These two were naturals in front of the camera and it was so great wandering through the streets of Marylebone on the way to the pub while strangers stopped to congratulate them!

I already can’t wait to be heading to Chelsea Town Hall next month, and back to Marylebone again in October!
And to all the staff at the town hall yesterday, thank you. The most welcoming, happy, helpful and personable team. You made me feel so at ease, which in turn made my job so much easier 🙌🏻

If you’re planning to get married here (or thinking about it!) and are looking for a photographer to capture your day in a relaxed way, I’d absolutely love to hear from you 🩷

My first film scans came back today, and it feels like Christmas when that email lands in your inbox saying they’re ready to view!!

This is very much still a work in progress for me before I look at offering it to clients from 2027. I’ve got plenty of weddings left this year where I’ll be trialling this and finding my feet with it all!

Some of you might remember I shared a story a few weeks ago about wanting to use my grandad’s Pentax MX. My lovely grandad, Laurie Honeyball, was a press, commercial and wedding photographer in Colchester Essex back in the day. His camera had been sitting on a shelf at my home unused for years, but it felt like the right time to pick it up and embrace the film revival thats currently happening to see what I can capture.

I wish he was here to show me exactly how to use it, as I know he would have been in his element telling me all about it!

I’ve also now since bought a Canon EOS300v with autofocus, which I’ll be using alongside the Pentax for those faster-paced wedding moments!

A few lessons I’ve learnt so far:

• Don’t force any levers that might open the back of the camera before the film has fully rewound, unless you want a mix of ruined frames and some weird light leaks. Which, to be fair, I don’t hate?!

• Make sure the film is actually loaded properly before you start shooting 😐 Otherwise you are quite literally taking photos of nothing all day!!

• Slow down and remember to use it. My brain isn’t used to juggling three cameras yet, so I need to be more intentional about using the film camera for key moments

• And most importantly, don’t beat myself up for not getting it perfect straight away. This is my first go and it’s all part of the process.

Natalie & Jake ~ 23rd May 2026 🩷

The first of the heatwave weddings, and what a day for it!!

A beautiful ceremony and marquee set up on family land in Assington, Suffolk, with Natalie getting ready just down the road at her nan’s house with her girls. I love days like this. I can confirm that Natalie’s Nan makes the best sausage rolls I’ve ever eaten!

Natalie and Jake, thank you for being up for everything, especially heading out for those evening field shots. So much fun.

A proper good day with such a kind, happy, loving couple!!! Just look how gorgeous they are!

I know I say this every time, but my couples really are the best 🥹

Mr and Mrs Olive \\ Saturday 13th June 2026 🥂

When Tash and Tom enquired with me last year and told me all about their wedding plans at , I immediately knew I had to be part of it all. So when they booked, I was really really excited!!

The White Horse in Easton is, without a doubt, one of the prettiest pubs in Suffolk, and serves some of the best food around. Having officially married a few days earlier in London, Tash and Tom chose one of their close friends to conduct a ceremony for them at Easton, followed by an incredible, food and drink filled celebration with all their guests, some of whom had travelled huge distances to be there!

To me, this was a dream wedding. A relaxed day in the Suffolk countryside, a quaint pub setting, incredible colourful flowers by .fleurgirl , a stunning open sided marquee by and a bar area full of happy, laid-back people.

Tash and Tom, thank you so much for having me along to capture your day and huge congratulations on becoming Mr and Mrs Olive!! What a great surname🩷

Being a wedding photographer isn’t just about taking photos on the day, it’s often so much more than that.

And I actually love all the extras. In fact, I occasionally daydream about being a wedding planner. I reckon I’d be pretty good at it!

A few more to add to the list, because this post took long enough to make without adding any more slides!

🤍 Bridesmaid / groomsman taxi
🤍 Emotional support
🤍 Veil remover

Jessy + Sam at the beautiful Woodhall Manor 🩷

I first met these two back in 2024 at Sam’s sister’s wedding, so when they contacted me last year to ask if I was free to photograph their own day I felt so honoured.

After a random overnight frost the night before (yes this was only weeks ago?!), we weren’t even sure all morning if the ceremony would be allowed outside, as the temperature might be below 16 degrees?! I’d never even heard of that rule before!

But luckily everything went ahead in the gorgeous little walled garden and it was just perfect.

Woodhall has so many lovely spots for photos, and drinks + canapés on the lawn have such a stunning backdrop.

Thank you both so much for having me. It was so nice to see you again, and some familiar faces too!!

Wow. What a start to my 2026 summer of weddings!!

Ella and Carl married at the very pretty Copdock Hall in front of their two boys and all of their friends and family, before wandering across the lawn to
