So.....after living and working on the road, since 4th July, we're on our way home and so looking forward to it! It's been a great experience, and one which we will definitely repeat. We've been very productive, met some wonderful people, and made some lovely new friends! We've also learnt so much from the trip, in more ways than one!

Our final stop, for the last few days, was in Gloucestershire. We parked our caravan up, as usual, but this time was quite different! Our lovely friends had invited us to stay with them, on our way home, so it's been a luxurious few days moving from our cute, tiny caravan, to staying in their stunningly, beautiful home!!

We just had to share this photo of our little caravan parked up, as it makes it look even more miniscule in front of their house, and it made us chuckle lol!!

The weather has well and truly changed right now so, today being our last day in Cornwall, we decided to spend a few hours walking some of the close by Coastal Path, and checking out the beach right below our campsite!

Walking in the rain felt soooo good after the weeks of heatwave weather lol!!

So we were up at 5am this morning, walked down to the beach to watch the sunrise....... and it was magical! 🌅

Back at the caravan by 7am and what a beautiful start to the day it was!! To top it off, it's only 17C so currently enjoying a coffee outside, in light, refreshing rain lol!!💖

So..... it's been a busy couple of days! We were up at 5am yesterday morning and drove from the campsite, in Merville-Franceville-Plage, to Cherbourg to catch the ferry. It was a fabulous crossing, very calm and beautiful sunny weather 💖

We arrived at Portsmouth and had the caravan searched (like all the others) to make sure "there were no bodies inside" (as stated by the border police!) lol!! We joked that there wasn't room to get bodies in there, when everything else was packed in there lol, and she was actually very smitten with the cuteness of the caravan, once she had checked inside!! 😁

We then drove 12 miles to the overnight campsite, literally dropped the legs on the caravan then drove to Waterlooville, to catch up with our friend Andy!

Early night after that as we were pooped lol, then woke to the calves dawn chorus (they were mooing in harmony lol!!), in the field next to us! 💖

After a quick breakfast we set off on the road again to head for the next overnight campsite in Somerset, but wow.....the traffic was horrendous so we were delayed by a good 2.5 hours getting here!!

Very basic set up again and it's currently 34C, 3 fans on the go in the caravan and Scott's currently teaching one of his Skype students in Roswell, New Mexico, USA!!

A new day a new office view for the next 3 days, here in the Normandy region of France, !!

Scott is still working hard on editing his course and Jan is going to be getting her pencils into action this afternoon!! 💖

The solar panels, on the top of the caravan, are charging the caravan battery up nicely, and we have a couple of fold out solar panels for things like phones etc.....the power of the sun!! 💖💖
