Examples of completely candid vs gently directed photos from Pippa & Oli’s day 🧡
All of my galleries are made up of a mix of candid & directed photos, which just helps to capture the real feel of the day whilst also getting key shots. Some candid looking photos might also never happen naturally, and are actually the result of gentle prompting! I hope you like them 🌟
Candid - we were going across the stream to grab some couples shots, and I just thought the bridge & light looked beautiful
Directed - a bridal portrait of Pippa & her dress looking gorgeous!
Candid - I think someone cracked a joke after we were done with group photos and I just happened to notice the couple giggling
Directed - a classic shot, walking away from the camera
Candid - a moment in the church after their ceremony, before signing the papers. Just taking it all in together
Directed - one of my favourite bridesmaid shots, just getting everyone cuddled in and paying compliments to each other/the bride
Candid - confetti 🎉 always a winner
