Matrescence is the transformative process of becoming a mother.

And you deserve to have this part of your story documented, whether you are thriving or simply surviving.

I don’t have photos from my first pregnancy, just a few quick phone photos with laundry in the background, because I didn’t think it would matter. ...But it did.

Especially years later, the first time your child asks 'mummy, do you have any photos of me in your tummy?'

So this has become something personal for me, a quiet mission to make sure other mothers don’t miss this chapter.

Because you deserve something more.
Something gentle.
Something honest.
Something beautiful.

My bookings are now closed as I am fully booked for the summer and heading off on maternity leave at the beginning of Autumn ✨

I will be back behind the camera around spring next year so if you want to book a photography session from Spring 2026 onwards don't hesitate to get in touch!

Replies may be a little slower over the winter but I'll still be active behind the scenes

Hi everyone, just putting out another model call as I have another new location I am dying to try!

I'm looking for a super chilled, earthy style mother and child to join me in this field of barley on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday night for a short session

I'm looking for a mother with one child, preferably between the ages of 18 months-3 years old, huge plus if you are still breastfeeding too!

Please make sure you are familiar with my unposed, earthy style of photography

Mums happy to be styled by me

Must have neutral (whites, creams, beiges) outfits for your child ready to go

The session will be from around 8:15/8:30pm for around 30 mins so please make sure your child is happy with later bedtimes

Location is just under 10 mins away from witham

Must sign a model release ahead of the session and be happy with your images being shared on social media

You will receive all the edited photos from the session as a thank you

Ideally looking for a mum and child I haven't photographed before

Please get in touch by sending me a DM with a photo of you and your child, and your availability

I usually get quite a big response to model calls so please don't be alarmed if I don't get back to you right away, I try to get back to everyone within 24 hours

Hi everyone, as always, a bit short notice but I would love to take some breastfeeding photos in my studio tomorrow ☺️

What I am looking for:

A mama and breastfeeding baby/toddler (any age, preferably a little older between 6 months and a toddler)

You must be happy with you and your child showing skin to skin contact and tastful nudity (see photos for reference)

You must be happy for photographs to be shared on social media/website and sign a model release form ahead of the session

When?

Tomorrow (Friday) anytime between 10 and 3 o'clock. The session should last around 1 hour.

Where?

In my garden studio in Witham, Essex

You will receive a gallery of images for free

I was so overwhelmed by how many women were struggling to find photos of themselves with their babies I just knew I needed to offer something that would give mothers the type of photos they deserve!
