A gentle vision of peace this evening.

Captured through the beautiful tulips bordering the east lawn; the shapes of their petals echoing those of the cathedral. Set against the deliciously pink and blue hues of the spring sunset.

Yesterday evening, over Ely, I captured this heart-shaped cloud flying overhead, during a brief rest from some sporty shenanigans with my son.

It looked, quite literally, as pretty as a picture. And glowing with the colours of sunset, I felt happy to make it mine. :))

‘A Weybourne seascape.’

With bright light casting between the dark clouds, and heavy waves crashing upon the desolate pebbled beach.

Taken a few months ago. I knew that I would “feel” this shot sometime in the future. And today, I felt it.

Even on the seemingly darkest of days, a spark of unexpected brightness can help ease the mind so very much. I was lucky enough to find my glimpse of brightness earlier today. :))

Taken from Barton Square, with the cathedral in the distance. And of course this splendid red telephone box acting as the subject for my shot.

It has a kind of cinematic-style feel to it, which I rather like. And helps to portray the feeling I wanted to give to the shot.
