Turns out I hate getting my photo taken. So I had to do it myself.

Three outfits, wine and a fair bit of cringe later - and finally showing the face behind Studios Photography

📸 I'm Louise, a property and interiors photographer and drone pilot based in Edinburgh. I help beautiful, independent hotels, estates and holiday lets across Scotland finally look as good online as they do in real life.

Too many stunning spaces are hidden behind poor imagery.

Beautiful design, atmosphere and experience deserve imagery that truly captures the feeling of being there.

A slower feel, for a slower pace you can experience at life with Springfield Farm Holiday Pods.

Took a different approach for this reel, so guests get to know all the feelings and little moments that make a stay here special. The quiet mornings, the fresh air, the slower evenings and the chance to properly switch off for a few days. All the feelings!

Delighted! 1st day these images are online and got a message from the client to say they just got their first booking. 😍🥰🙏 See final screenshots!

These are a few shots from the shoot - a property flip turned holiday home.

The client (a repeat client no less) was so nervous about getting it online - I did a little styling, captured it and gave a little advice with my super host background.

So delighted! Best part of the job, helping clients win! 😍

Loved shooting this at the amazing Springfield Farm Holiday Pods. We were blessed with the sunshine and not too much wind to fly the drone! So fun! And so cute to see the sheep, horses and cows. What a treat.

Just a stonethrow out of Edinburgh, its your city break and nature retreat right on the Capital's doorstep. 🥰😍 Highly recommend to anyone who wants to relax, enjoy Scotland's finest views and breath fresh countryside air! 😎😍

Grand rooms. Grand design. Quirky feel.

Another fun shoot, this time in centre of oor bonnie Capital, with views of the castle no less. Gorgeous and quirky - like many of us 🙂

I always start with two strong wide shots so you can see the full space, then find the beauty in the detail - the art, the textures and little touches.

This was my first shoot with this property manager client, they said they'd "never had images so beautiful" - must be doing something right 🥰😎

Turns out photography leads me to some pretty cool places. 😎

This is a family-designed, built-from-scratch dream home. Wow!

Was super fun to meet the lovely family, learn about their wicked home and style the property with their bubbly property manager.

I got an email the other day saying my domain for Montgomery Studio needs renewed. Meaning a year ago I properly started thinking maybe I will face my photography business fears!

Its been a journey from maternity and weddings to brand and of course property. But, I decided to be excellent, I needed to focus.

And so, with these I can see my technical skill has advanced as well as my confidence in getting to a shoot with gorgeous, but complicated light and knowing exactly what to do!

The power of focus = Lots of fun (with a fair bit of fear and pain)

Now, maybe if I to apply that to my marketing...😉😍🙏
