Here’s a small selection of shots from the day capturing some of the aircraft that made their way across the Eastbourne skies. 📸 (I have way to many photos to be able to upload then all) 😒😅

Saturday skies at Airbourne - Eastbourne📍 International Airshow 2026 ✈️

Saturday’s displays over Eastbourne certainly didn’t disappoint! 🤩

Here’s a selection of shots from the day, capturing some of the aircraft and flying displays that made their way across the Eastbourne skies. 📸

A little glimpse of yesterday's solar eclipse 🌞🌑

I managed to capture it right through to its maximum, although unfortunately not the other side. The timelapse has been sped up to show the movement a little more dramatically.

It’s not the greatest I’ve captured, but I was working away from home, so I wasn’t as relaxed or prepared as I could have been. Still, I’m happy I managed to capture it! 📸

The annual Beachy Head World Championship Penny Farthing Hill Climb, is the only cycling event of its kind in the world. 🚴‍♂️🌎

With 40 riders taking part, there was an international field of penny-farthing competitors battling it out.

The course of 4.69km features an elevation gain of 150m as riders set out at one-minute intervals to tackle the climb to Beachy Head.

🇫🇷 French rider Alexandre Voisine has smashed the Beachy Head Penny Farthing Hill Climb course record, powering up from Eastbourne seafront to Beachy Head in an incredible 11 minutes 35 seconds!

A “blink and you’ll miss it” moment!

I was so thrilled when I realised I’d managed to capture these shots of a Hummingbird Hawk Moth.

They move incredibly fast and barely stay still for a second, so getting these photos was definitely a challenge. One of those moments that makes waiting with the camera totally worth it. ✨️ 📸

The Buck Moon 🌕 rising behind Belle Tout Lighthouse - Eastbourne 📍captured from the South Downs after timing, patience, and a little luck came together. One of those rare moments where everything aligns for just a few seconds, and makes the wait completely worthwhile.

Stretching gracefully across the River Tamar📍 the Tamar Bridge links Devon and Cornwall via the A38.

Opened in 1961, it was the longest suspension bridge in the UK at the time and the first major suspension bridge built after World War II.

Standing alongside Brunel's iconic Royal Albert Bridge, it remains a remarkable feat of engineering, and in 2001 became the world's first suspension bridge to be successfully widened while staying open to traffic.
